La Morada (Ex 36,8-38)
26 Harás la Morada con diez cortinas de lino trenzado con púrpura violeta, escarlata y carmesí, y con querubines esmeradamente bordados. 2 Cada cortina medirá catorce metros de largo por dos de ancho; todas las cortinas tendrán las mismas medidas. 3 Cinco cortinas estarán unidas una con otra, y las otras cinco irán empalmadas de igual modo. 4 En cada uno de los bordes de las dos series de cortinas harás unas presillas de púrpura violeta; igualmente harás en el borde de la última cortina del otro grupo. 5 Pon cincuenta presillas en la primera cortina, y otras cincuenta en la última del segundo grupo. Las presillas se corresponderán entre sí. 6 Enlaza un cuerpo de cortinas con el otro mediante cincuenta corchetes de oro, de modo que la Morada forme un todo.
7 Después tejerás con pelo de cabra once cortinas que sirvan de cubierta para la Morada. 8 Todas las cortinas deben medir lo mismo: quince metros de largo por dos de ancho. 9 Empalma cinco cortinas por una parte y las seis restantes por la otra; une la sexta cortina de tal manera que pueda plegarse delante de la entrada de la Morada. 10 Remata los bordes de cada serie de cortinas con cincuenta presillas. 11 Y luego harás cincuenta pasadores de bronce, los meterás por las presillas y así cerrarás la Tienda, formando un todo. 12 Como de las cortinas de la Tienda sobra una parte, la mitad de lo que sobra colgará por la parte posterior de la Morada; 13 y el medio metro de cortina que sobra a ambos lados de la Tienda colgará sobre los costados de la Morada, cubriéndola. 14 También harás para la Tienda una cubierta de pieles de carnero curtidas, y una sobrecubierta de pieles de marsopa.
Las vigas de madera
15 Harás unos tableros de madera de acacia, y los colocarás verticalmente para formar la Morada. 16 Cada tablero tendrá cinco metros de largo, por setenta y cinco centímetros de ancho; 17 y tendrán dos espigas, para ensamblarlos uno con otro. Así deberás hacer con todos los tableros de la Morada. 18 Para el lado de la Morada que mira al sur, harás veinte tableros, 19 y debajo de ellos, colocarás cuarenta basas de plata, dos por cada tablero, para sus dos espigas. 20 Para el otro lado de la Morada, el que mira al norte, prepararás otros veinte tableros 21 con sus cuarenta basas, dos por cada tablero. 22 Y para la parte de la Morada que mira a poniente harás seis tableros, 23 más otros dos tableros para las esquinas posteriores de la Morada. 24 Estarán unidos de abajo a arriba hasta la primera argolla. Así quedarán conformadas las dos esquinas de la Morada.
25 En total habrá ocho tableros con sus correspondientes dieciséis basas de plata, dos por tablero.
26 Prepararás también cinco travesaños de madera de acacia para los tableros de un lado de la Morada, 27 y cinco para los del otro lado y cinco más para los tableros de la parte posterior, la que mira al poniente. 28 El travesaño central pasará por entre los tableros, de una punta a otra. 29 Revestirás de oro los tableros; forjarás, también de oro, las argollas para pasar por ellas los travesaños, que estarán igualmente revestidos de oro.
30 Construye la Morada conforme al modelo que te fue mostrado en el monte.
Velos de separación
31 Harás, asimismo, un velo de lino trenzado y púrpura violeta, escarlata y carmesí; todo ello esmeradamente realizado, y bordarás en él querubines. 32 Después colgarás el velo sujetándolo con ganchos de oro sobre cuatro columnas de madera de acacia, revestidas de oro, sostenidas por cuatro basas de plata. 33 Colgarás el velo en los ganchos, y allí, detrás del velo, colocarás el Arca del testimonio. El velo os servirá de separación entre el lugar santo y el lugar santísimo. 34 Y colocarás la cubierta sobre el Arca del testimonio en el lugar santísimo. 35 Fuera del velo, situarás la mesa, en el lado norte de la Morada, y el candelabro en el lado sur, frente a la mesa.
36 Para la entrada de la Tienda harás una cortina de lino fino trenzado y púrpura violeta, escarlata y carmesí; esmeradamente recamada. 37 Y para colgar esta cortina prepararás cinco columnas de madera de acacia revestidas de oro lo mismo que sus ganchos, y fundirás en bronce cinco basas para las columnas.

26 »Haz el santuario con diez cortinas de lino fino y de lana teñida de púrpura, carmesí y escarlata, con dos querubines artísticamente bordados en ellas. 2 Todas las cortinas deben medir lo mismo, es decir, doce metros y medio de largo por un metro con ochenta centímetros de ancho.[a]
3 »Cose cinco cortinas, uniendo la una con la otra por el borde, y haz lo mismo con las otras cinco. 4 En el borde superior del primer conjunto de cortinas pon unas presillas de lana teñida de púrpura, lo mismo que en el borde del otro conjunto de cortinas. 5 En las cortinas del primer conjunto pon cincuenta presillas, lo mismo que en las cortinas del otro conjunto, de modo que cada presilla tenga su pareja. 6 Haz luego cincuenta ganchos de oro para que las cortinas queden enganchadas una con otra, de modo que el santuario tenga unidad de conjunto.
7 »Haz once cortinas de pelo de cabra para cubrir el santuario a la manera de una tienda de campaña. 8 Todas ellas deben medir lo mismo, es decir, trece metros y medio de largo por un metro con ochenta centímetros de ancho.[b] 9 Cose cinco cortinas en un conjunto, y las otras seis en otro conjunto, doblando la sexta cortina en la parte frontal del santuario.
10 »Haz cincuenta presillas en el borde de la cortina con que termina el primer conjunto, y otras cincuenta presillas en el borde de la cortina con que termina el segundo. 11 Haz luego cincuenta ganchos de bronce y mételos en las presillas para formar el santuario, de modo que este tenga unidad de conjunto. 12 Las diez cortinas tendrán una cortina restante, que quedará colgando a espaldas del santuario. 13 A esta cortina le sobrarán cincuenta centímetros[c] en cada extremo, y con esa parte sobrante se cerrará el santuario.
14 »Haz para el santuario un toldo de piel de carnero, teñido de rojo, y para la parte superior un toldo de piel de delfín. 15 Prepara para el santuario unos tablones de acacia, para que sirvan de pilares. 16 Cada tablón debe medir cuatro metros y medio de largo por setenta centímetros de ancho,[d] 17 y contar con dos ranuras para que cada tablón encaje con el otro. Todos los tablones para el santuario los harás así. 18 Serán veinte los tablones para el lado sur del santuario.
19 »Haz también cuarenta bases de plata para colocarlas debajo de los tablones, dos bases por tablón, para que las dos ranuras de cada tablón encajen en cada base. 20 Para el lado opuesto, es decir, para el lado norte del santuario, prepararás también veinte tablones 21 y cuarenta bases de plata, y pondrás dos bases debajo de cada tablón. 22 Pondrás seis tablones en el lado posterior, que es el lado occidental del santuario, 23 y dos tablones más en las esquinas de ese mismo lado. 24 Estos dos tablones deben ser dobles en la base, quedando unidos por un solo anillo en la parte superior. Haz lo mismo en ambas esquinas, 25 de modo que haya ocho tablones y dieciséis bases de plata, es decir, dos bases debajo de cada tablón.
26 »Prepara también unos travesaños de acacia: cinco para los tablones de un costado del santuario, 27 cinco para los del costado opuesto, y cinco para los del costado occidental, es decir, para la parte posterior. 28 El travesaño central deberá pasar de un extremo al otro, a media altura de los tablones. 29 Recubre de oro los tablones, y haz unos anillos de oro para que los travesaños pasen por ellos. También debes recubrir de oro los travesaños. 30 Erige el santuario ciñéndote al modelo que se te mostró en el monte.
31 »Haz una cortina de púrpura, carmesí, escarlata y lino fino, con querubines artísticamente bordados en ella. 32 Cuélgala con ganchos de oro en cuatro postes de madera de acacia recubiertos de oro, los cuales levantarás sobre cuatro bases de plata. 33 Cuelga de los ganchos la cortina, la cual separará el Lugar Santo del Lugar Santísimo, y coloca el arca del pacto detrás de la cortina. 34 Pon el propiciatorio sobre el arca del pacto, dentro del Lugar Santísimo, 35 y coloca la mesa fuera de la cortina, en el lado norte del santuario. El candelabro lo pondrás frente a la mesa, en el lado sur.
36 »Haz para la entrada del santuario una cortina de púrpura, carmesí, escarlata y lino fino, recamada artísticamente. 37 Para esta cortina prepara cinco postes de acacia recubiertos de oro, con sus respectivos ganchos de oro, y funde para los postes cinco bases de bronce.

26 (A: iii) “You are to make the tabernacle with ten sheets of finely woven linen and with blue, purple and scarlet yarn. You are to make them with k’ruvim worked in, that have been crafted by a skilled artisan. 2 Each one is to be forty-two feet long and six feet wide; all the sheets are to be the same size. 3 Five sheets are to be joined one to another, and the other five sheets are to be joined one to another. 4 Make loops of blue on the edge of the outermost sheet in the first set, and do the same on the edge of the outermost sheet in the second set. 5 Make fifty loops on the one sheet, and make fifty loops on the edge of the sheet in the second set; the loops are to be opposite one another. 6 Make fifty fasteners of gold, and couple the sheets to each other with the fasteners, so that the tabernacle forms a single unit.
7 “You are to make sheets of goat’s hair to be used as a tent covering the tabernacle; make eleven sheets. 8 Each sheet is to be forty-five feet long and six feet wide — all eleven sheets are to be the same size. 9 Join five sheets together and six sheets together, and fold the sixth sheet double at the front of the tent. 10 Make fifty loops on the edge of the outermost sheet in the first set and fifty loops on the edge of the outermost sheet in the second set. 11 Make fifty fasteners of bronze, put the fasteners in the loops, and join the tent together, so that it forms a single unit. 12 As for the overhanging part that remains of the sheets forming the tent, the half-sheet remaining is to hang over the back of the tabernacle; 13 and the eighteen inches on the one side and the eighteen inches on the other side of that remaining in the length of the sheets forming the tent is to hang over the tabernacle to cover it on each side.
14 “You are to make a covering for the tent of tanned ram skins and an outer covering of fine leather.
(iv) 15 “Make the upright planks for the tabernacle out of acacia-wood. 16 Each plank is to be fifteen feet long and two-and-a-quarter feet wide. 17 There are to be two projections on each plank, and the planks are to be joined one to another. That is how you are to make all the planks for the tabernacle.
18 “Make the planks for the tabernacle as follows: twenty planks for the south side, facing southward. 19 Make forty silver sockets under the twenty planks, two sockets under one plank for its two projections and two sockets under another plank for its two projections. 20 “For the second side of the tabernacle, to the north, make twenty planks 21 and their forty silver sockets, two sockets under one plank and two under another. 22 “For the rear part of the tabernacle, toward the west, make six planks. 23 For the corners of the tabernacle in the rear, make two planks; 24 these are to be double from the bottom all the way to the top but joined at a single ring. Do the same with both of them; they are to form the two corners. 25 Thus there will be eight planks with their silver sockets, sixteen sockets, two sockets under one plank and two under another.
26 “Make crossbars of acacia-wood, five for the planks of the one side of the tabernacle, 27 five crossbars for the planks of the other side of the tabernacle, and five crossbars for the planks at the side of the tabernacle at the rear toward the west. 28 The middle crossbar, halfway up the planks, is to extend from end to end. 29 Overlay the planks with gold, make gold rings for them through which the crossbars will pass, and overlay the crossbars with gold.
30 “You are to erect the tabernacle according to the design you have been shown on the mountain.
(v) 31 “You are to make a curtain of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely woven linen. Make it with k’ruvim worked in, that have been crafted by a skilled artisan. 32 Hang it with gold hooks on four acacia-wood posts overlaid with gold and standing in four silver sockets. 33 Hang the curtain below the fasteners. Then bring the ark for the testimony inside the curtain; the curtain will be the divider for you between the Holy Place and the Especially Holy Place. 34 You are to put the ark-cover on the ark for the testimony in the Especially Holy Place.
35 “You are to put the table outside the curtain and the menorah opposite the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south; put the table on the north side.
36 “For the entrance to the tent, make a screen of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely woven linen; it should be in colors, the work of a weaver. 37 For the screen, make five posts of acacia-wood; overlay them with gold; and cast for them five sockets of bronze.

26 Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them.
2 The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure.
3 The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.
4 And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.
5 Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another.
6 And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.
7 And thou shalt make curtains of goats' hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make.
8 The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure.

14 And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins.
15 And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up.
16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board.
17 Two tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
18 And thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward.
