¹² Restore to me the joy of your salvation^(A)
    and grant me a willing spirit,^(B) to sustain me.^(C)

    so that sinners^(E) will turn back to you.^(F)

¹⁴ Deliver me^(A) from the guilt of bloodshed,^(B) O God,
    you who are God my Savior,^(C)
    and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.^(D)
15 Open my lips, Lord,^(E)
    and my mouth will declare your praise.

¹⁸ May it please you to prosper Zion,^(A)
    to build up the walls of Jerusalem.^(B)
19 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of the righteous,^(C)
    in burnt offerings^(D) offered whole;
    then bulls^(E) will be offered on your altar.
