Mark 13:9-13
American Standard Version
9 But take ye heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in synagogues shall ye be beaten; and before governors and kings shall ye stand for my sake, for a testimony unto them. 10 And the [a]gospel must first be preached unto all the nations. 11 And when they lead you to judgment, and deliver you up, be not anxious beforehand what ye shall speak: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye; for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit. 12 And brother shall [b]deliver up brother to death, and the father his child; and children shall rise up against parents, and [c]cause them to be put to death. 13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

Mark 13:9-13
New International Version
9 “You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues.(A) On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. 10 And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. 11 Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.(B)
12 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death.(C) 13 Everyone will hate you because of me,(D) but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.(E)
Matthew 10:17-25
American Standard Version
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you; 18 yea and before governors and kings shall ye be brought for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. 19 But when they deliver you up, be not anxious how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that hour what ye shall speak. 20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father that speaketh in you. 21 And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and the father his child: and children shall rise up against parents, and [a]cause them to be put to death. 22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. 23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone through the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
24 A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a [b]servant above his lord. 25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his teacher, and the [c]servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house [d]Beelzebub, how much more them of his household!
