4 ‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.(A) 5 Now if you will carefully listen to me and keep my covenant,(B) you will be my own possession(C) out of all the peoples, although the whole earth is mine, 6 and you will be my kingdom of priests and my holy nation.’(D) These are the words that you are to say to the Israelites.”

the one who created you, Jacob,

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;(B)
I have called you by your name; you are mine.(C)

and the rivers will not overwhelm you.
When you walk through the fire,(F)
you will not be scorched,
and the flame will not burn you.
3 For I am the Lord your God,(G)

I have given Egypt as a ransom for you,
