² And by the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested (ceased) on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.^(A)

⁵ And God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was ^[a]evening and there was ^[b]morning, one day.

¹⁰ For the one who has once entered His rest has also rested from [the weariness and pain of] his [human] labors, just as God rested from [those labors uniquely] His own.^(A)
