17 And (A)whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

18 (C)Wives, submit to your own husbands, (D)as is fitting in the Lord.
19 (E)Husbands, love your wives and do not be (F)bitter toward them.
20 (G)Children, obey your parents (H)in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
21 (I)Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.
22 (J)Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God. 23 (K)And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 (L)knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; (M)for[a] you serve the Lord Christ. 25 But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and (N)there is no partiality.

19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
21 Fathers,[a] do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.
22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. 23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance(E) from the Lord as a reward.(F) It is the Lord Christ you are serving. 25 Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.(G)
4 Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair,(H) because you know that you also have a Master in heaven.
