18 But the (A)path of the righteous is like the (B)light of dawn

19 The (E)way of the wicked is like darkness;
They do not know over what they [a](F)stumble.

20 My son, (G)pay attention to my words;
(H)Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 (I)They are not to escape from your sight;
(J)Keep them in the midst of your heart.
22 For they are (K)life to those who find them,
And (L)healing to all [b]their body.
23 Watch over your heart with all diligence,
For (M)from it flow the springs of life.
24 Rid yourself of a (N)deceitful mouth
And (O)keep devious [c]speech far from you.
25 Let your eyes look directly ahead
And let your [d]gaze be fixed straight in front of you.
26 [e](P)Watch the path of your feet,
And all your (Q)ways will be established.
27 (R)Do not turn to the right or to the left;
(S)Turn your foot from evil.
