⁵⁹ They kept on stoning Stephen as he called out to the Lord, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”

¹⁷ Everything you do or say, then, should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks through him to God the Father.

¹² In this way you will win the respect of those who are not believers, and you will not have to depend on anyone for what you need.
