² And many nations shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth ^[a]the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem;

⁴⁷ and that repentance ^[a]and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the ^[b]nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

⁴ and, ^[a]being assembled together with them, he charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, said he, ye heard from me:

¹⁴ But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and spake forth unto them, saying, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and give ear unto my words.
