²² A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children,
but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.

¹⁶ Though he piles up silver like dust,
    and clothing like heaps of mortar,

¹⁷ what he lays up, the righteous will wear,
    and the upright will divide the silver.
