⁶ The hare, though it chews the cud, does not split the hoof, so it is unclean to you.

⁷ Yet of those that chew the cud or have a split hoof, you are not to eat the camel, the hare, and the rabbit—because they chew the cud but do not split the hoof, they are unclean to you.
