¹⁸ The sons of Kohath:^(A) Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel. Kohath lived one hundred and thirty-three years.

⁵⁸ These were clans of Levi: the clan of the Libnites, the clan of the Hebronites, the clan of the Mahlites, the clan of the Mushites, the clan of the Korahites.^[a]

Now Kohath begot Amram,

⁵⁹ whose wife was named Jochebed. She was the daughter of Levi, born to Levi in Egypt. To Amram she bore Aaron and Moses and Miriam their sister.

³ The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.^(A)

Among the Kohathites: Heman, the chanter, son of Joel, son of Samuel,
