They are corrupt, and their ways are vile;
    there is no one who does good.

¹ Save me^(B), O God, by your name;^(C)
    vindicate me by your might.^(D)

¹ Listen to my prayer, O God,
    do not ignore my plea;^(A)

¹ O God, why have you rejected^(A) us forever?^(B)
    Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?^(C)
