1 當 猶 大 王 烏 西 雅 ， 以 色 列 王 約 阿 施 的 兒 子 耶 羅 波 安 在 位 的 時 候 ， 大 地 震 前 二 年 ， 提 哥 亞 牧 人 中 的 阿 摩 司 得 默 示 論 以 色 列 。
2 他 說 ： 耶 和 華 必 從 錫 安 吼 叫 ， 從 耶 路 撒 冷 發 聲 ； 牧 人 的 草 場 要 悲 哀 ； 迦 密 的 山 頂 要 枯 乾 。
3 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 大 馬 色 三 番 四 次 地 犯 罪 ， 我 必 不 免 去 他 的 刑 罰 ； 因 為 他 以 打 糧 食 的 鐵 器 打 過 基 列 。
4 我 卻 要 降 火 在 哈 薛 的 家 中 ， 燒 滅 便 哈 達 的 宮 殿 。
5 我 必 折 斷 大 馬 色 的 門 閂 ， 剪 除 亞 文 平 原 的 居 民 和 伯 伊 甸 掌 權 的 。 亞 蘭 人 必 被 擄 到 吉 珥 。 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的 。
6 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 迦 薩 三 番 四 次 地 犯 罪 ， 我 必 不 免 去 他 的 刑 罰 ； 因 為 他 擄 掠 眾 民 交 給 以 東 。
7 我 卻 要 降 火 在 迦 薩 的 城 內 ， 燒 滅 其 中 的 宮 殿 。
8 我 必 剪 除 亞 實 突 的 居 民 和 亞 實 基 倫 掌 權 的 ， 也 必 反 手 攻 擊 以 革 倫 。 非 利 士 人 所 餘 剩 的 必 都 滅 亡 。 這 是 主 耶 和 華 說 的 。
9 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 推 羅 三 番 四 次 地 犯 罪 ， 我 必 不 免 去 他 的 刑 罰 ； 因 為 他 將 眾 民 交 給 以 東 ， 並 不 記 念 弟 兄 的 盟 約 。
10 我 卻 要 降 火 在 推 羅 的 城 內 ， 燒 滅 其 中 的 宮 殿 。
11 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 以 東 三 番 四 次 地 犯 罪 ， 我 必 不 免 去 他 的 刑 罰 ； 因 為 他 拿 刀 追 趕 兄 弟 ， 毫 無 憐 憫 ， 發 怒 撕 裂 ， 永 懷 忿 怒 。
12 我 卻 要 降 火 在 提 幔 ， 燒 滅 波 斯 拉 的 宮 殿 。
13 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 亞 捫 人 三 番 四 次 地 犯 罪 ， 我 必 不 免 去 他 們 的 刑 罰 ； 因 為 他 們 剖 開 基 列 的 孕 婦 ， 擴 張 自 己 的 境 界 。
14 我 卻 要 在 爭 戰 吶 喊 的 日 子 ， 旋 風 狂 暴 的 時 候 ， 點 火 在 拉 巴 的 城 內 ， 燒 滅 其 中 的 宮 殿 。
15 他 們 的 王 和 首 領 必 一 同 被 擄 去 。 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的 。
2 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 摩 押 三 番 四 次 地 犯 罪 ， 我 必 不 免 去 他 的 刑 罰 ； 因 為 他 將 以 東 王 的 骸 骨 焚 燒 成 灰 。
2 我 卻 要 降 火 在 摩 押 ， 燒 滅 加 略 的 宮 殿 。 摩 押 必 在 鬨 嚷 吶 喊 吹 角 之 中 死 亡 。
3 我 必 剪 除 摩 押 中 的 審 判 者 ， 將 其 中 的 一 切 首 領 和 他 一 同 殺 戮 。 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的 。
4 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 猶 大 人 三 番 四 次 地 犯 罪 ， 我 必 不 免 去 他 們 的 刑 罰 ； 因 為 他 們 厭 棄 耶 和 華 的 訓 誨 ， 不 遵 守 他 的 律 例 。 他 們 列 祖 所 隨 從 虛 假 的 偶 像 使 他 們 走 迷 了 。
5 我 卻 要 降 火 在 猶 大 ， 燒 滅 耶 路 撒 冷 的 宮 殿 。
6 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 以 色 列 人 三 番 四 次 地 犯 罪 ， 我 必 不 免 去 他 們 的 刑 罰 ； 因 他 們 為 銀 子 賣 了 義 人 ， 為 一 雙 鞋 賣 了 窮 人 。
7 他 們 見 窮 人 頭 上 所 蒙 的 灰 也 都 垂 涎 ， 阻 礙 謙 卑 人 的 道 路 。 父 子 同 一 個 女 子 行 淫 ， 褻 瀆 我 的 聖 名 。
8 他 們 在 各 壇 旁 鋪 人 所 當 的 衣 服 ， 臥 在 其 上 ， 又 在 他 們 神 的 廟 中 喝 受 罰 之 人 的 酒 。
9 我 從 以 色 列 人 面 前 除 滅 亞 摩 利 人 。 他 雖 高 大 如 香 柏 樹 ， 堅 固 如 橡 樹 ， 我 卻 上 滅 他 的 果 子 ， 下 絕 他 的 根 本 。
10 我 也 將 你 們 從 埃 及 地 領 上 來 ， 在 曠 野 引 導 你 們 四 十 年 ， 使 你 們 得 亞 摩 利 人 之 地 為 業 。
11 我 從 你 們 子 弟 中 興 起 先 知 ， 又 從 你 們 少 年 人 中 興 起 拿 細 耳 人 。 以 色 列 人 哪 ， 不 是 這 樣 麼 ？ 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的 。
12 你 們 卻 給 拿 細 耳 人 酒 喝 ， 囑 咐 先 知 說 ： 不 要 說 預 言 。
13 看 哪 ， 在 你 們 所 住 之 地 ， 我 必 壓 你 們 ， 如 同 裝 滿 禾 捆 的 車 壓 物 一 樣 。
14 快 跑 的 不 能 逃 脫 ； 有 力 的 不 能 用 力 ； 剛 勇 的 也 不 能 自 救 。
15 拿 弓 的 不 能 站 立 ； 腿 快 的 不 能 逃 脫 ； 騎 馬 的 也 不 能 自 救 。
16 到 那 日 ， 勇 士 中 最 有 膽 量 的 ， 必 赤 身 逃 跑 。 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的 。
3 以 色 列 人 哪 ， 你 們 全 家 是 我 從 埃 及 地 領 上 來 的 ， 當 聽 耶 和 華 攻 擊 你 們 的 話 ：
2 在 地 上 萬 族 中 ， 我 只 認 識 你 們 ； 因 此 ， 我 必 追 討 你 們 的 一 切 罪 孽 。
3 二 人 若 不 同 心 ， 豈 能 同 行 呢 ？
4 獅 子 若 非 抓 食 ， 豈 能 在 林 中 咆 哮 呢 ？ 少 壯 獅 子 若 無 所 得 ， 豈 能 從 洞 中 發 聲 呢 ？
5 若 沒 有 機 檻 ， 雀 鳥 豈 能 陷 在 網 羅 裡 呢 ？ 網 羅 若 無 所 得 ， 豈 能 從 地 上 翻 起 呢 ？
6 城 中 若 吹 角 ， 百 姓 豈 不 驚 恐 呢 ？ 災 禍 若 臨 到 一 城 ， 豈 非 耶 和 華 所 降 的 麼 ？
7 主 耶 和 華 若 不 將 奧 秘 指 示 他 的 僕 人 ─ 眾 先 知 ， 就 一 無 所 行 。
8 獅 子 吼 叫 ， 誰 不 懼 怕 呢 ？ 主 耶 和 華 發 命 ， 誰 能 不 說 預 言 呢 ？
9 要 在 亞 實 突 的 宮 殿 中 和 埃 及 地 的 宮 殿 裡 傳 揚 說 ： 你 們 要 聚 集 在 撒 瑪 利 亞 的 山 上 ， 就 看 見 城 中 有 何 等 大 的 擾 亂 與 欺 壓 的 事 。
10 那 些 以 強 暴 搶 奪 財 物 、 積 蓄 在 自 己 家 中 的 人 不 知 道 行 正 直 的 事 。 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的 。
11 所 以 主 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 敵 人 必 來 圍 攻 這 地 ， 使 你 的 勢 力 衰 微 ， 搶 掠 你 的 家 宅 。
12 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 牧 人 怎 樣 從 獅 子 口 中 搶 回 兩 條 羊 腿 或 半 個 耳 朵 ， 住 撒 瑪 利 亞 的 以 色 列 人 躺 臥 在 床 角 上 或 鋪 繡 花 毯 的 榻 上 ， 他 們 得 救 也 不 過 如 此 。
13 主 耶 和 華 ─ 萬 軍 之 神 說 ： 當 聽 這 話 ， 警 戒 雅 各 家 。
14 我 討 以 色 列 罪 的 日 子 ， 也 要 討 伯 特 利 祭 壇 的 罪 ； 壇 角 必 被 砍 下 ， 墜 落 於 地 。

1 犹大王乌西雅、约阿施的儿子以色列王耶罗波安执政期间，大地震前两年，提哥亚的牧人阿摩司看到了关于以色列的异象。以下是阿摩司的话。
2 他说：
“耶和华在锡安[a]怒吼，
在耶路撒冷呼喊。
牧人的草场枯干，
迦密山顶枯黄。”
对亚兰的审判
3 耶和华说：
“大马士革人三番四次地犯罪，
我必不收回对他们的惩罚，
因为他们用打粮食的铁器蹂躏基列。
4 所以我要降火在哈薛王家，
烧毁便·哈达王的城堡。
5 我要折断大马士革城的门闩，
铲除亚文平原[b]的居民和伯·伊甸的掌权者，
使亚兰人被掳到吉珥[c]。
这是耶和华说的。”
对非利士的审判
6 耶和华说：
“迦萨人三番四次地犯罪，
我必不收回对他们的惩罚，
因为他们把被掳之人全都带走，
卖到以东做奴隶。
7 所以，我要降火在迦萨的城墙上，
烧毁它的城堡。
8 我要铲除亚实突的居民和亚实基伦的掌权者，
伸手攻击以革伦，
剩下的非利士人都要灭亡。
这是主耶和华说的。”
对泰尔的审判
9 耶和华说：
“泰尔人三番四次地犯罪，
我必不收回对他们的惩罚，
因为他们背弃弟兄之盟，
把被掳之人都卖到以东。
10 所以，我要降火在泰尔的城墙上，
烧毁它的城堡。”
对以东的审判
11 耶和华说：
“以东人三番四次地犯罪，
我必不收回对他们的惩罚，
因为他们拔刀追赶自己的弟兄，
没有半点怜悯之心；
他们怒气不息，永怀愤怒。
12 所以，我要降火在提幔，
烧毁波斯拉的城堡。”
对亚扪的审判
13 耶和华说：
“亚扪人三番四次地犯罪，
我必不收回对他们的惩罚，
因为他们为了扩张领土，
竟剖开基列孕妇的肚腹。
14 所以，我要在战争的吶喊声中，
在暴风雨吹袭的时候，
降火在拉巴的城墙上，
烧毁它的城堡。
15 他们的君王和首领都要被掳。
这是耶和华说的。”
对摩押的审判
2 耶和华说：
“摩押人三番四次地犯罪，
我必不收回对他们的惩罚，
因为他们把以东王的骸骨焚烧成灰。
2 所以我要降火在摩押，
烧毁加略的城堡。
摩押要在战争的喧嚣、吶喊和号角声中灭亡。
3 我要铲除摩押的君王，
杀死那里所有的首领。
这是耶和华说的。”
对犹大的审判
4 耶和华说：
“犹大人三番四次地犯罪，
我必不收回对他们的惩罚，
因为他们厌弃耶和华的训诲，
不遵守我的律例。
他们祖先祭拜的偶像使他们走入歧途。
5 所以我要降火在犹大，
烧毁耶路撒冷的城堡。”
对以色列的审判
6 耶和华说：
“以色列人三番四次地犯罪，
我必不收回对他们的惩罚，
因为他们为了银子卖掉义人，
为了一双鞋子卖掉穷人。
7 他们践踏穷人如同践踏地上的尘土，
使卑微的人无处申冤；
父子同淫一女，亵渎我的圣名。
8 在每座祭坛旁边，
他们把穷人典当的衣服铺开，躺在上面，
又在上帝的殿里喝剥削来的酒。
9 “以色列人啊，
我在你们面前消灭了亚摩利人。
虽然他们像香柏树那样高大，
如橡树那样强壮，
但我灭尽了他们的果子，
砍断了他们的根。
10 我带领你们离开埃及，
在旷野引导你们四十年，
使你们得到亚摩利人的土地。
11 我从你们的子孙中拣选先知，

责备以色列人
3 “以色列人啊，
要听耶和华责备你们的话，
责备我从埃及领出来的整个民族的话，
2 ‘世上万族之中，我只拣选了你们，
所以我要因你们的罪恶而惩罚你们。’”
3 若非相约，
二人怎会同行呢？
4 若非捕到猎物，
狮子怎会在林中咆哮呢？
若非猎获食物，
猛狮怎会在洞中吼叫呢？
5 若非设下诱饵，
鸟儿怎会陷入网罗呢？
若非有什么陷进去，
网罗怎会收起来呢？
6 若城中响起号角，
居民岂不恐惧颤抖？
若灾祸降临城中，
岂不是耶和华的作为？
7 的确，主耶和华不向祂的仆人——众先知显明祂的计划，
就不会采取任何行动。
8 狮子吼叫，谁不惧怕呢？
主耶和华已发言，谁能不传讲呢？
9 要向亚实突和埃及的城堡宣告：
“你们要聚集到撒玛利亚的山上，
看看城中的混乱和暴虐之事。
10 他们不知正道，强取豪夺，

1 The words of Amos, one of the shepherds of Tekoa(A)—the vision he saw concerning Israel two years before the earthquake,(B) when Uzziah(C) was king of Judah and Jeroboam(D) son of Jehoash[a] was king of Israel.(E)
2 He said:
“The Lord roars(F) from Zion
and thunders(G) from Jerusalem;(H)
the pastures of the shepherds dry up,
and the top of Carmel(I) withers.”(J)
Judgment on Israel’s Neighbors
3 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Damascus,(K)
even for four, I will not relent.(L)
Because she threshed Gilead
with sledges having iron teeth,
4 I will send fire(M) on the house of Hazael(N)
that will consume the fortresses(O) of Ben-Hadad.(P)
5 I will break down the gate(Q) of Damascus;
I will destroy the king who is in[b] the Valley of Aven[c]
and the one who holds the scepter in Beth Eden.(R)
The people of Aram will go into exile to Kir,(S)”
says the Lord.(T)
6 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Gaza,(U)
even for four, I will not relent.(V)
Because she took captive whole communities
and sold them to Edom,(W)
7 I will send fire on the walls of Gaza
that will consume her fortresses.
8 I will destroy the king[d] of Ashdod(X)
and the one who holds the scepter in Ashkelon.
I will turn my hand(Y) against Ekron,
till the last of the Philistines(Z) are dead,”(AA)
says the Sovereign Lord.(AB)
9 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Tyre,(AC)
even for four, I will not relent.(AD)
Because she sold whole communities of captives to Edom,
disregarding a treaty of brotherhood,(AE)
10 I will send fire on the walls of Tyre
that will consume her fortresses.(AF)”
11 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Edom,(AG)
even for four, I will not relent.
Because he pursued his brother with a sword(AH)
and slaughtered the women of the land,
because his anger raged continually
and his fury flamed unchecked,(AI)
12 I will send fire on Teman(AJ)
that will consume the fortresses of Bozrah.(AK)”
13 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Ammon,(AL)
even for four, I will not relent.
Because he ripped open the pregnant women(AM) of Gilead
in order to extend his borders,
14 I will set fire to the walls of Rabbah(AN)
that will consume(AO) her fortresses
amid war cries(AP) on the day of battle,
amid violent winds(AQ) on a stormy day.
15 Her king[e] will go into exile,
he and his officials together,(AR)”
says the Lord.(AS)
2 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Moab,(AT)
even for four, I will not relent.
Because he burned to ashes(AU)
the bones of Edom’s king,
2 I will send fire on Moab
that will consume the fortresses of Kerioth.[f](AV)
Moab will go down in great tumult
amid war cries(AW) and the blast of the trumpet.(AX)
3 I will destroy her ruler(AY)
and kill all her officials with him,”(AZ)
says the Lord.(BA)
4 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Judah,(BB)
even for four, I will not relent.
Because they have rejected the law(BC) of the Lord
and have not kept his decrees,(BD)
because they have been led astray(BE) by false gods,[g](BF)
the gods[h] their ancestors followed,(BG)
5 I will send fire(BH) on Judah
that will consume the fortresses(BI) of Jerusalem.(BJ)”
Judgment on Israel
6 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Israel,
even for four, I will not relent.(BK)
They sell the innocent for silver,
and the needy for a pair of sandals.(BL)
7 They trample on the heads of the poor
as on the dust of the ground
and deny justice to the oppressed.
Father and son use the same girl
and so profane my holy name.(BM)
8 They lie down beside every altar
on garments taken in pledge.(BN)
In the house of their god
they drink wine(BO) taken as fines.(BP)
9 “Yet I destroyed the Amorites(BQ) before them,
though they were tall(BR) as the cedars
and strong as the oaks.(BS)
I destroyed their fruit above
and their roots(BT) below.
10 I brought you up out of Egypt(BU)
and led(BV) you forty years in the wilderness(BW)
to give you the land of the Amorites.(BX)
11 “I also raised up prophets(BY) from among your children
and Nazirites(BZ) from among your youths.
Is this not true, people of Israel?”
declares the Lord.
12 “But you made the Nazirites drink wine
and commanded the prophets not to prophesy.(CA)
13 “Now then, I will crush you
as a cart crushes when loaded with grain.(CB)
14 The swift will not escape,(CC)
the strong(CD) will not muster their strength,
and the warrior will not save his life.(CE)
15 The archer(CF) will not stand his ground,
the fleet-footed soldier will not get away,
and the horseman(CG) will not save his life.(CH)
16 Even the bravest warriors(CI)
will flee naked on that day,”
declares the Lord.
Witnesses Summoned Against Israel
3 Hear this word, people of Israel, the word the Lord has spoken against you(CJ)—against the whole family I brought up out of Egypt:(CK)
2 “You only have I chosen(CL)
of all the families of the earth;
therefore I will punish(CM) you
for all your sins.(CN)”
3 Do two walk together
unless they have agreed to do so?
4 Does a lion roar(CO) in the thicket
when it has no prey?(CP)
Does it growl in its den
when it has caught nothing?
5 Does a bird swoop down to a trap on the ground
when no bait(CQ) is there?
Does a trap spring up from the ground
if it has not caught anything?
6 When a trumpet(CR) sounds in a city,
do not the people tremble?
When disaster(CS) comes to a city,
has not the Lord caused it?(CT)
7 Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing
without revealing his plan(CU)
to his servants the prophets.(CV)
8 The lion(CW) has roared(CX)—
who will not fear?
The Sovereign Lord has spoken—
who can but prophesy?(CY)
9 Proclaim to the fortresses of Ashdod(CZ)
and to the fortresses of Egypt:
“Assemble yourselves on the mountains of Samaria;(DA)
see the great unrest within her
and the oppression among her people.”
10 “They do not know how to do right,(DB)” declares the Lord,
“who store up in their fortresses(DC)
what they have plundered(DD) and looted.”
11 Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“An enemy will overrun your land,
pull down your strongholds
and plunder your fortresses.(DE)”
12 This is what the Lord says:
“As a shepherd rescues from the lion’s(DF) mouth
only two leg bones or a piece of an ear,
so will the Israelites living in Samaria be rescued,
with only the head of a bed
and a piece of fabric[i] from a couch.[j](DG)”
13 “Hear this and testify(DH) against the descendants of Jacob,” declares the Lord, the Lord God Almighty.
14 “On the day I punish(DI) Israel for her sins,
I will destroy the altars of Bethel;(DJ)
the horns(DK) of the altar will be cut off
and fall to the ground.
15 I will tear down the winter house(DL)
along with the summer house;(DM)
the houses adorned with ivory(DN) will be destroyed
and the mansions(DO) will be demolished,(DP)”
declares the Lord.(DQ)

2 我 就 觀 看 ， 見 有 一 匹 白 馬 ； 騎 在 馬 上 的 ， 拿 著 弓 ， 並 有 冠 冕 賜 給 他 。 他 便 出 來 ， 勝 了 又 要 勝 。
3 揭 開 第 二 印 的 時 候 ， 我 聽 見 第 二 個 活 物 說 ： 你 來 。
4 就 另 有 一 匹 馬 出 來 ， 是 紅 的 ， 有 權 柄 給 了 那 騎 馬 的 ， 可 以 從 地 上 奪 去 太 平 ， 使 人 彼 此 相 殺 ； 又 有 一 把 大 刀 賜 給 他 。

6 我 聽 見 在 四 活 物 中 似 乎 有 聲 音 說 ： 一 錢 銀 子 買 一 升 麥 子 ， 一 錢 銀 子 買 三 升 大 麥 ； 油 和 酒 不 可 糟 蹋 。
7 揭 開 第 四 印 的 時 候 ， 我 聽 見 第 四 個 活 物 說 ： 你 來 ！
8 我 就 觀 看 ， 見 有 一 匹 灰 色 馬 ； 騎 在 馬 上 的 ， 名 字 叫 作 死 ， 陰 府 也 隨 著 他 ； 有 權 柄 賜 給 他 們 ， 可 以 用 刀 劍 、 饑 荒 、 瘟 疫 （ 或 作 ： 死 亡 ） 、 野 獸 ， 殺 害 地 上 四 分 之 一 的 人 。
9 揭 開 第 五 印 的 時 候 ， 我 看 見 在 祭 壇 底 下 ， 有 為 神 的 道 、 並 為 作 見 證 被 殺 之 人 的 靈 魂 ，
10 大 聲 喊 著 說 ： 聖 潔 真 實 的 主 阿 ， 你 不 審 判 住 在 地 上 的 人 ， 給 我 們 伸 流 血 的 冤 ， 要 等 到 幾 時 呢 ？
11 於 是 有 白 衣 賜 給 他 們 各 人 ； 又 有 話 對 他 們 說 ， 還 要 安 息 片 時 ， 等 著 一 同 作 僕 人 的 和 他 們 的 弟 兄 也 像 他 們 被 殺 ， 滿 足 了 數 目 。
12 揭 開 第 六 印 的 時 候 ， 我 又 看 見 地 大 震 動 ， 日 頭 變 黑 像 毛 布 ， 滿 月 變 紅 像 血 ，
13 天 上 的 星 辰 墜 落 於 地 ， 如 同 無 花 果 樹 被 大 風 搖 動 ， 落 下 未 熟 的 果 子 一 樣 。
14 天 就 挪 移 ， 好 像 書 卷 被 捲 起 來 ； 山 嶺 海 島 都 被 挪 移 離 開 本 位 。
15 地 上 的 君 王 、 臣 宰 、 將 軍 、 富 戶 、 壯 士 ， 和 一 切 為 奴 的 、 自 主 的 ， 都 藏 在 山 洞 和 巖 石 穴 裡 ，
16 向 山 和 巖 石 說 ： 倒 在 我 們 身 上 罷 ！ 把 我 們 藏 起 來 ， 躲 避 坐 寶 座 者 的 面 目 和 羔 羊 的 忿 怒 ；
17 因 為 他 們 忿 怒 的 大 日 到 了 ， 誰 能 站 得 住 呢 ？

羔羊揭开前六印
6 然后，我看见羔羊揭开七印中的第一印，那时我听见四个活物中的一个用如雷的声音说：“来！” 2 我便观看，见有一匹白马，马上的骑士拿着弓，他接受了赏赐给他的冠冕后，便四处征战，战无不胜。
3 羔羊揭开第二印时，我听见第二个活物说：“来！” 4 这次出现了一匹红马，马上的骑士获得权柄和一把大刀，要夺取地上的和平，使人类互相厮杀。
5 揭开第三印的时候，我听见第三个活物说：“来！”我便看见一匹黑马，马上的骑士手里拿着天平。 6 我又听见四个活物中好像有声音说：“一升小麦值一个银币[a]，三升大麦也同价，油和酒都不要糟蹋。”
7 羔羊揭开第四印的时候，我听到第四个活物说：“来！” 8 这次我看到一匹浅灰色的马，马上骑士的名字叫死亡，阴府紧跟在他后面。他们得到权力可以用刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫和野兽消灭全人类的四分之一。
9 羔羊揭开第五印的时候，我看到一个祭坛，祭坛下有许多灵魂，都是为传扬上帝的道、为祂做见证而被杀的。 10 他们大声喊着说：“圣洁真实的主宰啊，还要等多久呢？为什么你还不审判地上那些屠杀我们的人，为我们申冤呢？” 11 这时有白袍赐给他们，有声音告诉他们要再稍候片刻，直到和他们同做奴仆的弟兄被杀害的数目满了为止。
12 羔羊揭开第六印的时候，我看见大地震发生了，太阳变得像黑毛布一样黑，整个月亮变成血红色， 13 天上的星辰都坠落，好像未成熟的无花果被狂风吹落一般。 14 天空也像书卷被卷起来，所有的山岭和海岛都被挪离原位。 15 地上的君王、显贵、将领、富豪、有势力的、一切奴隶和自由人都躲藏在山洞里和岩穴间。 16 他们哀求群山和岩石，说：“倒下来遮盖我们，将我们藏起来吧！我们不敢面对宝座上的那位和羔羊的烈怒啊！ 17 因为祂们发烈怒的大日子到了，谁能站得住呢？”

6 I watched as the Lamb(A) opened the first of the seven seals.(B) Then I heard one of the four living creatures(C) say in a voice like thunder,(D) “Come!” 2 I looked, and there before me was a white horse!(E) Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown,(F) and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.(G)
3 When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature(H) say, “Come!” 4 Then another horse came out, a fiery red one.(I) Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth(J) and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.
5 When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature(K) say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse!(L) Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures,(M) saying, “Two pounds[a] of wheat for a day’s wages,[b] and six pounds[c] of barley for a day’s wages,[d](N) and do not damage(O) the oil and the wine!”
7 When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature(P) say, “Come!” 8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse!(Q) Its rider was named Death, and Hades(R) was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.(S)
9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under(T) the altar(U) the souls of those who had been slain(V) because of the word of God(W) and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long,(X) Sovereign Lord,(Y) holy and true,(Z) until you judge the inhabitants of the earth(AA) and avenge our blood?”(AB) 11 Then each of them was given a white robe,(AC) and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters,[e] were killed just as they had been.(AD)
12 I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake.(AE) The sun turned black(AF) like sackcloth(AG) made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13 and the stars in the sky fell to earth,(AH) as figs drop from a fig tree(AI) when shaken by a strong wind. 14 The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up,(AJ) and every mountain and island was removed from its place.(AK)
15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free,(AL) hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.(AM) 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us(AN) and hide us[f] from the face of him who sits on the throne(AO) and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day(AP) of their[g] wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”(AQ)
