12 And in Yom Hahu thou shalt say, Hashem, I will praise Thee; though Thou wast angry with me, Thine anger is turned away, and Thou comfortedst me.
2 Hinei, El is my Yeshuah (Salvation); I will trust, and not be afraid; for Hashem G-d is my strength and my zemirah; He also has become my Yeshuah (Salvation).
3 Therefore with sasson shall ye draw mayim out of the wells of Yeshuah (Salvation).
4 And in Yom Hahu shall ye say, Hodu LaHashem, call upon Shmo, declare His deeds among the peoples, proclaim that Shmo is exalted.
5 Sing unto Hashem; for He hath done glorious things; let this be known b’chol ha’aretz.
6 Cry out and shout for joy, thou inhabitant of Tziyon; for gadol is Kadosh Yisroel in the midst of thee.

12 On that day you will say:
“I thank you, Adonai,
because, although you were angry at me,
your anger is now turned away;
and you are comforting me.
2 “See! God is my salvation.
I am confident and unafraid;
for Yah Adonai is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation!”
3 Then you will joyfully draw water
from the springs of salvation.
4 On that day you will say,
“Give thanks to Adonai! Call on his name!
Make his deeds known among the peoples,
declare how exalted is his name.
5 Sing to Adonai, for he has triumphed —
this is being made known throughout the earth.
6 Shout and sing for joy,
you who live in Tziyon;
for the Holy One of Isra’el
is with you in his greatness!”

Een loflied voor God
12 Op die dag zult u zeggen: ‘Ik loof U, Here! Uw toorn was op mij, maar nu troost U mij.
2 Kijk, God is gekomen om mij te redden! Ik zal vertrouwen en niet bang zijn, want de Here is mijn kracht en mijn lied, Hij is mijn heil. 3 Wat is het een vreugde om te drinken uit zijn fontein van heil!’
4 Op die wonderbaarlijke dag zult u zeggen: ‘De Here zij gedankt! Geprezen zij zijn Naam! Vertel de wereld over zijn liefdevolle daden. Want Hij is machtig! 5 Zing voor de Here, want Hij heeft wonderbaarlijke dingen gedaan. Maak zijn glorie over de hele wereld bekend. 6 Laten alle inwoners van Jeruzalem met vreugde juichen, want groot en machtig is de Heilige van Israël, die onder u woont.’

12 In that day(A) you will say:
“I will praise(B) you, Lord.
Although you were angry with me,
your anger has turned away(C)
and you have comforted(D) me.
2 Surely God is my salvation;(E)
I will trust(F) and not be afraid.
The Lord, the Lord himself,(G) is my strength(H) and my defense[a];
he has become my salvation.(I)”
3 With joy you will draw water(J)
from the wells(K) of salvation.
4 In that day(L) you will say:
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;(M)
make known among the nations(N) what he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.(O)
