72 A Salomón.
Oh Dios, da tus juicios al rey,
y tu justicia al hijo del rey.
2 Él juzgará a tu pueblo con justicia
y a tus pobres con rectitud.
3 Los montes producirán paz
para el pueblo;
y las colinas, justicia.
4 Juzgará a los pobres del pueblo;
salvará a los hijos del necesitado
y quebrantará al opresor.
5 Durará[a] con el sol y la luna,
generación tras generación.
6 Descenderá como lluvia sobre la hierba cortada,
como los aguaceros que humedecen la tierra.
7 En sus días florecerá el justo; habrá abundancia de paz
hasta que no haya más luna.
8 Dominará de mar a mar
y desde el Río hasta los confines de la tierra.
9 Delante de él se postrarán los habitantes del desierto,
y sus enemigos lamerán el polvo.
10 Los reyes de Tarsis y de las costas del mar le traerán presentes; los reyes de Saba y de Seba
le presentarán tributo.
11 Ante él se arrodillarán todos los reyes
y le servirán todas las naciones.
12 Librará al necesitado que suplica
y al pobre que no tiene quien
le socorra.
13 Tendrá piedad del pobre y del necesitado,
y salvará la vida de los necesitados.
14 De la opresión y de la violencia
les redimirá la vida;
la sangre de ellos será preciosa
a sus ojos.
15 Vivirá, y se le dará el oro de Saba.
Se orará por él continuamente; todo el día se le bendecirá.
16 Haya abundancia de grano
en la tierra;
sea copioso en las cumbres
de los montes.
Su fruto brotará como el Líbano,
y surgirá como la hierba de la tierra.
17 Para siempre será su nombre; será perpetuado mientras dure el sol. En él serán benditas todas
las naciones
y lo llamarán bienaventurado.
18 ¡Bendito sea el SEÑOR Dios, Dios de Israel!
Solo él hace maravillas.
19 ¡Bendito sea para siempre su nombre glorioso!
Toda la tierra sea llena de su gloria. Amén y amén.

Of Solomon.
1 Endow the king with your justice,(A) O God,
the royal son with your righteousness.
2 May he judge your people in righteousness,(B)
your afflicted ones with justice.
3 May the mountains bring prosperity to the people,
the hills the fruit of righteousness.
4 May he defend the afflicted(C) among the people
and save the children of the needy;(D)
may he crush the oppressor.(E)
5 May he endure[a](F) as long as the sun,
as long as the moon, through all generations.(G)
6 May he be like rain(H) falling on a mown field,
like showers watering the earth.
7 In his days may the righteous flourish(I)
and prosperity abound till the moon is no more.
8 May he rule from sea to sea
and from the River[b](J) to the ends of the earth.(K)
9 May the desert tribes bow before him
and his enemies lick the dust.
10 May the kings of Tarshish(L) and of distant shores(M)
bring tribute to him.
May the kings of Sheba(N) and Seba
present him gifts.(O)
11 May all kings bow down(P) to him
and all nations serve(Q) him.
12 For he will deliver the needy who cry out,
the afflicted who have no one to help.
13 He will take pity(R) on the weak and the needy
and save the needy from death.
14 He will rescue(S) them from oppression and violence,
for precious(T) is their blood in his sight.
15 Long may he live!
May gold from Sheba(U) be given him.
May people ever pray for him
and bless him all day long.(V)
16 May grain(W) abound throughout the land;
on the tops of the hills may it sway.
May the crops(X) flourish like Lebanon(Y)
and thrive[c] like the grass of the field.(Z)
17 May his name endure forever;(AA)
may it continue as long as the sun.(AB)
18 Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel,(AD)
who alone does marvelous deeds.(AE)
19 Praise be to his glorious name(AF) forever;
may the whole earth be filled with his glory.(AG)
