Elogio delle opere divine
111 Alleluia.
Renderò grazie al Signore con tutto il cuore,
nel consesso dei giusti e nell'assemblea.
2 Grandi le opere del Signore,
le contemplino coloro che le amano.
3 Le sue opere sono splendore di bellezza,
la sua giustizia dura per sempre.
4 Ha lasciato un ricordo dei suoi prodigi:
pietà e tenerezza è il Signore.
5 Egli dà il cibo a chi lo teme,
si ricorda sempre della sua alleanza.
6 Mostrò al suo popolo la potenza delle sue opere,
gli diede l'eredità delle genti.
7 Le opere delle sue mani sono verità e giustizia,
stabili sono tutti i suoi comandi,
8 immutabili nei secoli, per sempre,
eseguiti con fedeltà e rettitudine.
9 Mandò a liberare il suo popolo,
stabilì la sua alleanza per sempre.
10 Santo e terribile il suo nome.
Principio della saggezza è il timore del Signore,
saggio è colui che gli è fedele;
la lode del Signore è senza fine.

1 Praise the Lord.[b]
I will extol the Lord(A) with all my heart(B)
in the council(C) of the upright and in the assembly.(D)
2 Great are the works(E) of the Lord;
they are pondered by all(F) who delight in them.
3 Glorious and majestic are his deeds,
and his righteousness endures(G) forever.
4 He has caused his wonders to be remembered;
the Lord is gracious and compassionate.(H)
5 He provides food(I) for those who fear him;(J)
he remembers his covenant(K) forever.
6 He has shown his people the power of his works,(L)
giving them the lands of other nations.(M)
7 The works of his hands(N) are faithful and just;
all his precepts are trustworthy.(O)
8 They are established for ever(P) and ever,
enacted in faithfulness and uprightness.
9 He provided redemption(Q) for his people;
he ordained his covenant forever—
holy and awesome(R) is his name.
