Romans 5:2-8
King James Version
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:2-8
New International Version
2 through whom we have gained access(A) by faith into this grace in which we now stand.(B) And we[a] boast in the hope(C) of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we[b] also glory in our sufferings,(D) because we know that suffering produces perseverance;(E) 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope(F) does not put us to shame, because God’s love(G) has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit,(H) who has been given to us.
6 You see, at just the right time,(I) when we were still powerless,(J) Christ died for the ungodly.(K) 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.(L)

2 Through him we have also (A)obtained access by faith[a] into this grace (B)in which we stand, and (C)we[b] rejoice[c] in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we (D)rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering (E)produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and (F)hope does not put us to shame, because God's love (G)has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
6 For (H)while we were still weak, at the right time (I)Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— 8 but (J)God shows his love for us in that (K)while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

2 We have also obtained access through him(A) by faith[a] into this grace in which we stand,(B) and we boast[b] in the hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that,(C) but we also boast in our afflictions,(D) because we know that affliction produces endurance,(E) 4 endurance produces proven character,(F) and proven character produces hope. 5 This hope will not disappoint us,(G) because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts(H) through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
The Justified Are Reconciled
6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time,(I) Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For rarely will someone die for a just person—though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die. 8 But God proves(J) his own love for us(K) in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

2 through whom also we have (A)obtained our introduction by faith into this grace (B)in which we stand; and [a]we exult in hope of the glory of God. 3 (C)And not only this, but [b]we also (D)exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about (E)perseverance; 4 and (F)perseverance, (G)proven character; and proven character, hope; 5 and hope (H)does not disappoint, because the love of God has been (I)poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
