¹⁶ Live together in peace with each other. Do not be proud, but make friends with those who seem unimportant. Do not think how smart you are.

⁴ He should not compare himself with others. Each person should judge his own actions. Then he can be proud for what he himself has done.

³ When you do things, do not let selfishness or pride be your guide. Be humble and give more honor to others than to yourselves.

¹⁰ Humble yourself before the Lord, and he will honor you.
