²² Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, ^[a]goodness, ^(A)if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise ^(B)you also will be cut off.

¹⁴ For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,

⁶ but Christ as ^(A)a Son over His own house, ^(B)whose house we are ^(C)if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope ^[a]firm to the end.

^2 (A)by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless ^(B)you believed in vain.

^2 (A)Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He ^[a]takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear ^(B)more fruit.

²³ Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for ^(A)He who promised is faithful.

⁹ And ^(A)let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap ^(B)if we do not lose heart.

³¹ Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you ^(A)abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

³⁵ Therefore do not cast away your confidence, ^(A)which has great reward. ^36 (B)For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, ^(C)you may receive the promise:

³⁹ But we are not of those ^(G)who draw back to ^[d]perdition, but of those who ^(H)believe to the saving of the soul.
