A Living Sacrifice

12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you^(A) to present your bodies as a living sacrifice,^(B) holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship.^[a]

⁵ and not just as we had hoped. Instead, they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us by God’s will.^(A)
