Romans 4:16
New International Version
16 Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace(A) and may be guaranteed(B) to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.(C)
Romans 3:24-26
New International Version
24 and all are justified(A) freely by his grace(B) through the redemption(C) that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement,[a](D) through the shedding of his blood(E)—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished(F)— 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

The Certainty of God’s Promise
13 When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself,(A) 14 saying, “I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.”[a](B) 15 And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.(C)
16 People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument.(D) 17 Because God wanted to make the unchanging(E) nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised,(F) he confirmed it with an oath. 18 God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie,(G) we who have fled to take hold of the hope(H) set before us may be greatly encouraged. 19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,(I)

7 Understand, then, that those who have faith(A) are children of Abraham.(B) 8 Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”[a](C) 9 So those who rely on faith(D) are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.(E)
10 For all who rely on the works of the law(F) are under a curse,(G) as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”[b](H) 11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God,(I) because “the righteous will live by faith.”[c](J) 12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”[d](K)

11 And he received circumcision as a sign, a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised.(A) So then, he is the father(B) of all who believe(C) but have not been circumcised, in order that righteousness might be credited to them.
