9 And they had breastplates like iron breastplates. And the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots, of many horses running into battle. 10 And they have tails like scorpions, and stingers. And their authority to harm people for five months is in their tails. 11 They have a king over them: the angel of the abyss. The name for him in Hebrew is Abaddon[a]. And in Greek he has the name Apollyon.

9 They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle.(A) 10 They had tails with stingers, like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months.(B) 11 They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss,(C) whose name in Hebrew(D) is Abaddon(E) and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).
