7 When they finish their testimony, the beast(A) that comes up out of the abyss(B) will make war on them, conquer them, and kill them. 8 Their dead bodies[a](C) will lie in the main street[b] of the great city,(D) which figuratively[c] is called Sodom(E) and Egypt,(F) where also their Lord was crucified. 9 And some of[d] the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations(G) will view their bodies for three and a half days and not permit their bodies to be put into a tomb.(H)

7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

7 When[a] they have completed their testimony, the beast that comes up from the abyss will make war on them and conquer[b] them and kill them. 8 Their[c] corpses will lie in the street[d] of the great city that is symbolically[e] called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was also crucified. 9 For three and a half days those from every[f] people, tribe,[g] nation, and language will look at their corpses, because they will not permit them to be placed in a tomb.[h]
