¹²Our Lord, you bless everyone
that you instruct and teach
by using your Law.

Psalm 94:12

New International Version

¹²Blessed is the one you discipline,^(A) Lord,
the one you teach^(B) from your law;

¹³You give them rest
from their troubles,
until a pit can be dug
for the wicked.

¹³you grant them relief from days of trouble,^(A)
till a pit^(B) is dug for the wicked.

³²But when the Lord judges and punishes us, he does it to keep us from being condemned with the rest of the world.

³²Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined^(A) so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.^(B)
