Sing to Yahweh a New Song
A Psalm.
98 Sing to Yahweh a (A)new song,
For He has done (B)wondrous deeds,
His (C)right hand and His (D)holy arm have [a]worked out His salvation.
2 (E)Yahweh has made known His salvation;
He has (F)revealed His righteousness in the eyes of the nations.
3 He has (G)remembered His lovingkindness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;
(H)All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 (I)Make a loud shout to Yahweh, all the earth;
(J)Break forth and sing for joy and sing praises.
5 Sing praises to Yahweh with the (K)lyre,
With the lyre and the (L)sound of singing.
6 With (M)trumpets and the sound of the horn
(N)Make a loud shout before (O)King Yahweh.
7 Let the (P)sea roar, as well as its fullness,
The (Q)world and those who dwell in it.
8 Let the (R)rivers clap their hands,
Let the (S)mountains sing together for joy
9 Before Yahweh, for He is coming to (T)judge the earth;
He will judge the world with righteousness
And (U)the peoples with [b]equity.

98 O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
2 The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
5 Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.
7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
9 Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

A psalm.
1 Sing to the Lord(A) a new song,(B)
for he has done marvelous things;(C)
his right hand(D) and his holy arm(E)
have worked salvation(F) for him.
2 The Lord has made his salvation known(G)
and revealed his righteousness(H) to the nations.(I)
3 He has remembered(J) his love
and his faithfulness to Israel;
all the ends of the earth(K) have seen
the salvation of our God.(L)
4 Shout for joy(M) to the Lord, all the earth,
burst into jubilant song with music;
5 make music to the Lord with the harp,(N)
with the harp and the sound of singing,(O)
6 with trumpets(P) and the blast of the ram’s horn(Q)—
shout for joy(R) before the Lord, the King.(S)
7 Let the sea(T) resound, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it.(U)
8 Let the rivers clap their hands,(V)
let the mountains(W) sing together for joy;
9 let them sing before the Lord,
for he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness

98 Sálmur. Syngið Drottni nýjan söng, því að hann hefir gjört dásemdarverk, hægri hönd hans hjálpaði honum og hans heilagi armleggur.
2 Drottinn hefir kunngjört hjálpræði sitt, fyrir augum þjóðanna opinberaði hann réttlæti sitt.
3 Hann minntist miskunnar sinnar við Jakob og trúfesti sinnar við Ísraels ætt. Öll endimörk jarðar sáu hjálpræði Guðs vors.
4 Látið gleðióp gjalla fyrir Drottni, öll lönd, hefjið gleðisöng, æpið fagnaðaróp og lofsyngið.
5 Leikið fyrir Drottni á gígju, á gígju með lofsöngshljómi,
6 með lúðrum og básúnuhljómi, látið gleðióp gjalla fyrir konunginum Drottni.
7 Hafið drynji og allt sem í því er, heimurinn og þeir sem í honum lifa.
8 Fljótin skulu klappa lof í lófa, fjöllin fagna öll saman
9 fyrir Drottni sem kemur til að dæma jörðina. Hann dæmir heiminn með réttlæti og þjóðirnar með réttvísi.
