Psalm 94:8-15

^8 (A)Understand, O dullest of the people!
    Fools, when will you be wise?
^9 (B)He who planted the ear, does he not hear?
He who formed the eye, does he not see?
¹⁰ He who ^(C)disciplines the nations, does he not rebuke?
He who ^(D)teaches man knowledge—
^{11     (E)}the Lord—knows the thoughts of man,
    that they are ^(F)but a breath.^[a]

^12 (G)Blessed is the man whom you ^(H)discipline, O Lord,
    and whom you teach out of your law,
¹³ to give him ^(I)rest from ^(J)days of trouble,
    until ^(K)a pit is dug for the wicked.
^14 (L)For the Lord will not forsake his ^(M)people;
    he will not abandon his ^(N)heritage;
¹⁵ for ^(O)justice will return to the righteous,
    and all the upright in heart will ^(P)follow it.
