Psalm 71:4-6

New International Version

⁴Deliver^(A) me, my God, from the hand of the wicked,^(B)
from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel.^(C)

⁵For you have been my hope,^(D) Sovereign Lord,
    my confidence^(E) since my youth.
⁶From birth^(F) I have relied on you;
    you brought me forth from my mother’s womb.^(G)
    I will ever praise^(H) you.
