Psalm 20[a]
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;(A)
may the name of the God of Jacob(B) protect you.(C)
2 May he send you help(D) from the sanctuary(E)
and grant you support(F) from Zion.(G)
3 May he remember(H) all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.[b](I)
4 May he give you the desire of your heart(J)
and make all your plans succeed.(K)
5 May we shout for joy(L) over your victory
and lift up our banners(M) in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.(N)
6 Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.(O)
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.(P)
7 Some trust in chariots(Q) and some in horses,(R)
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.(S)
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,(T)
but we rise up(U) and stand firm.(V)
9 Lord, give victory to the king!
Answer us(W) when we call!

ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଏକ ଗୀତ।
20 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ବିପଦରେ ପଡ଼ିଥାଅ, ସେହି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଡାକ ଶୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିବାକୁ ଆଗେଇ ଆସନ୍ତୁ।
ଯାକୁବଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତୁ।
2 ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାଙ୍କର ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ପଠାନ୍ତୁ।
ସିୟୋନ ପର୍ବତରୁ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରନ୍ତୁ।
3 ତୁମ୍ଭର ଉପହାର ସବୁ ଯାହା ତାଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଅର୍ପିତ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତୁ।
ତୁମ୍ଭର ହୋମବଳିକୁ ସେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତୁ। ସେଲା
4 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାହା ଗ୍ଭହୁଁଛ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ତାହା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତୁ।
ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସକଳ ମନସ୍କାମନା ପୂରଣ କରନ୍ତୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସକଳ ଯୋଜନାକୁ ସଫଳ କରନ୍ତୁ।
5 ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଖୁସୀ ହେବୁ ଯେତେବେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିବେ।
ଆସ ସମସ୍ତେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନାମର ଜୟଗାନ କରିବା।
ଯାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଗ୍ଭହୁଁଛ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସେହି ସକଳ କାମନା ପୂରଣ କରନ୍ତୁ।
6 ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ ରାଜାକୁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରନ୍ତି।
ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାଙ୍କର ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଥା’ନ୍ତି ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ ରାଜାକୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ମହାନ ଶକ୍ତିରେ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ତ୍ରାଣ କରନ୍ତି।
7 କେତେକ ଲୋକ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ରଥ ଉପରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ରଖନ୍ତି।
ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସୈନିକଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ରଖନ୍ତି
କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ନାମକୁ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱରରେ ଡାକୁ।
8 ସେହି ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ପରାସ୍ତ ହୋଇ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁବରଣ କଲେ କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜିତିଲୁ।
ଆମ୍ଭେ ବିଜୟୀ ଦଳ।
9 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କର ମନୋନୀତ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲେ
କାରଣ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ମନୋନୀତ ରାଜା ତାଙ୍କୁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ନିବେଦନ କଲେ ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ଦେଲେ।

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high [and defend you];
2 Send you help from the sanctuary and support, refresh, and strengthen you from Zion;
3 Remember all your offerings and accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah [pause, and think of that]!
4 May He grant you according to your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans.
5 We will [shout in] triumph at your salvation and victory, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.
6 Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand.
7 Some trust in and boast of chariots and some of horses, but we will trust in and boast of the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are bowed down and fallen, but we are risen and stand upright.
9 O Lord, give victory; let the King answer us when we call.
