Salmos 125
O Livro
Cântico de peregrinação.
125 Os que confiam no Senhor estão firmes
como o monte Sião que não pode ser abalado.
2 Como as montanhas rodeiam a cidade de Jerusalém,
assim o Senhor protege o seu povo, agora e sempre.
3 Pois o poder da maldade não ficará sempre
sobre a vida dos justos,
para que não sejam levados pela força da iniquidade.
4 Senhor, faz o bem àqueles que te obedecem,
aos que praticam a retidão.
5 Os que se conduzem por caminhos torcidos de falsidade,
esses terão a recompensa reservada aos pecadores.
O povo de Israel terá paz e tranquilidade!
Psalm 125
King James Version
125 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
4 Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
