⁵⁰This is my comfort in my affliction:
for thy word hath quickened me.

⁵⁰My comfort in my suffering is this:
Your promise preserves my life.^(A)

⁵⁹I thought on my ways,
and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

⁵⁹I have considered my ways^(A)
and have turned my steps to your statutes.

⁸⁰Let my heart be sound in thy statutes;
that I be not ashamed.

⁸⁰May I wholeheartedly follow^(A) your decrees,^(B)
that I may not be put to shame.^(C)
