Hoffnung für Alle
28 Mögen sie mich auch verwünschen – du wirst mich segnen!
Sollen sie doch angreifen – sie werden dabei scheitern!
Zuletzt werde ich, dein Diener, mich freuen.
29 Schimpf und Schande sollen über meine Ankläger kommen,
sie sollen sie einhüllen wie ein Mantel!
30 Immer wieder will ich dem Herrn danken,
in aller Öffentlichkeit will ich ihn loben.

28 Sie mögen fluchen — du aber segne;
erheben sie sich [gegen mich], so sollen sie zuschanden werden;
aber dein Knecht soll sich freuen.
29 Meine Ankläger sollen Schmach anziehen
und in ihre Schande sich hüllen wie in einen Mantel.
30 Ich will den Herrn laut preisen mit meinem Mund,
und inmitten vieler will ich ihn rühmen,

28 Gitunglo nila ako, apan ikaw mopanalangin kanako.
Maulawan sila kon sulongon nila ako,
apan ako nga imong sulugoon maglipay.
29 Sama nga ang lawas naputos sa bisti,
hinaut nga mapuno sa kaulaw ang mga tawong nagbutang-butang kanako.
30 Pasalamatan ko gayod ang Ginoo;
dayegon ko siya atubangan sa daghang katawhan.

may those who attack me be put to shame,
but may your servant rejoice.(B)
29 May my accusers be clothed with disgrace
and wrapped in shame(C) as in a cloak.
30 With my mouth I will greatly extol the Lord;
in the great throng(D) of worshipers I will praise him.
