Psalm 86:3-8
New English Translation

3 Have mercy on me,[a] O Lord,
for I cry out to you all day long.
4 Make your servant[b] glad,
for to you, O Lord, I pray.[c]
5 Certainly,[d] O Lord, you are kind[e] and forgiving,
and show great faithfulness to all who cry out to you.
6 O Lord, hear my prayer.
Pay attention to my plea for mercy.
7 In my time of trouble I cry out to you,
for you will answer me.
8 None can compare to you among the gods, O Lord.
Your exploits are incomparable.[f]

6 Hear my prayer, Lord;

    because you answer(H) me.

8 Among the gods(I) there is none like you,(J) Lord;
    no deeds can compare with yours.
