Tell the Coming Generation

78 (B)Give ear, O my people, to my teaching;
    incline your ears to the words of my mouth!
(C)I will open my mouth (D)in a parable;
    I will utter dark sayings from of old,
things that we have heard and known,
    that our (E)fathers have told us.
We will not (F)hide them from their children,
    but (G)tell to the coming generation
the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,
    and (H)the wonders that he has done.

78 Escucha(A), pueblo mío, mi enseñanza;
Inclinen ustedes su oído a las palabras de mi boca(B).
En parábolas abriré mi boca(C);
Hablaré enigmas(D) de la antigüedad,
Que hemos oído y conocido,
Y que nuestros padres nos han contado(E).
No lo ocultaremos a sus hijos(F),
Sino que contaremos a la generación venidera las alabanzas del Señor(G),
Su poder y las maravillas(H) que hizo.
