⁴ For Yahweh takes pleasure in his people.
    He crowns the humble with salvation.

²⁰ Those who are perverse in heart are an abomination to Yahweh,
    but those whose ways are blameless are his delight.

²² Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh,
    but those who do the truth are his delight.

⁴ You will not be called Forsaken any more,
    nor will your land be called Desolate any more;
but you will be called Hephzibah,^[a]
    and your land Beulah;^[b]
for Yahweh delights in you,
    and your land will be married.
⁵ For as a young man marries a virgin,
    so your sons will marry you.
As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride,
    so your God will rejoice over you.
