²Your tongue devises ^(A)destruction,
Like a ^(B)sharp razor, ^(C)O worker of deceit.
³You ^(D)love evil more than good,
^(E)Falsehood more than speaking what is right. ^[a]Selah.
⁴You love all words that devour,
O ^(F)deceitful tongue.

⁵^[b]But God will break you down forever;
He will snatch you up and ^(G)tear you away from your tent,
And ^(H)uproot you from the ^(I)land of the living. Selah.
