12 But (A)man in his [a]pomp will not endure;
He is like the [b]beasts that [c]perish.

13 This is the (B)way of those who are foolish,
And of those after them who (C)approve their words. [d]Selah.
14 As sheep they are appointed (D)for [e]Sheol;
Death shall be their shepherd;
And the (E)upright shall rule over them in the morning,
And their form shall be for [f]Sheol (F)to consume
[g]So that they have no habitation.
15 But God will (G)redeem my soul from the [h]power of [i]Sheol,
For (H)He will receive me. Selah.
