¹³ Blessed are those who find wisdom,
    those who gain understanding,
¹⁴ for she is more profitable than silver
    and yields better returns than gold.^(A)

¹⁶ Long life is in her right hand;^(A)
    in her left hand are riches and honor.^(B)
17 Her ways are pleasant ways,
    and all her paths are peace.^(C)
18 She is a tree of life^(D) to those who take hold of her;
    those who hold her fast will be blessed.^(E)

¹² “I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence;
    I possess knowledge and discretion.^(A)
13 To fear the Lord^(B) is to hate evil;^(C)
    I hate^(D) pride and arrogance,
    evil behavior and perverse speech.

³⁵ For those who find me^(A) find life^(B)
    and receive favor from the Lord.^(C)

²⁷ The fear of the Lord adds length to life,^(A)
    but the years of the wicked are cut short.^(B)

¹⁹ Truly the righteous attain life,^(A)
    but whoever pursues evil finds death.^(B)

³⁰ The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life,^(A)
    and the one who is wise saves lives.

²⁸ In the way of righteousness there is life;^(A)
    along that path is immortality.
