²¹It is a sin to ·hate [despise] your neighbor,
but being ·kind [gracious] to the needy brings ·happiness [a blessing].

²¹It is a sin to despise one’s neighbor,^(A)
but blessed is the one who is kind to the needy.^(B)

²¹He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.
