Proverbs 10:17-19

New King James Version

¹⁷ He who keeps instruction is in the way of life,
But he who refuses correction ^[a]goes astray.

¹⁸ Whoever ^(A)hides hatred has lying lips,
And ^(B)whoever spreads slander is a fool.

^19 (C)In the multitude of words sin is not lacking,
But ^(D)he who restrains his lips is wise.
