Hosea 11:10-12
New International Version

10 They will follow the Lord;
    he will roar(A) like a lion.(B)
When he roars,
    his children will come trembling(C) from the west.(D)
11 They will come from Egypt,
    trembling like sparrows,
    from Assyria,(E) fluttering like doves.(F)
I will settle them in their homes,”(G)
    declares the Lord.

Israel’s Sin

12 Ephraim has surrounded me with lies,(H)
    Israel with deceit.
And Judah is unruly against God,
    even against the faithful(I) Holy One.[a](J)
