Ang Pag-aayos ng mga Ilaw sa Toldang Tipanan
8 Sinabi(A) ni Yahweh kay Moises, 2 “Sabihin mo kay Aaron na pagkasindi ng pitong ilaw, iaayos niya ang mga ito sa ibabaw ng patungan upang magliwanag sa paligid nito.” 3 Iyon nga ang ginawa ni Aaron ayon sa inutos ni Yahweh kay Moises. 4 Ang ilawan ay yari sa pinitpit na ginto, gayundin ang palamuting bulaklak at ang mga tangkay nito. Ginawa ito ni Moises ayon sa anyong huwaran na ipinakita sa kanya ni Yahweh.
Ang Pagtatalaga sa mga Levita
5 Sinabi ni Yahweh kay Moises, 6 “Ibukod mo ang mga Levita at linisin ayon sa Kautusan. 7 Wisikan mo sila ng tubig na panlinis ng kasalanan, paahitan ang buo nilang katawan, at palabhan ang kanilang kasuotan. 8 Pagkatapos, pagdalhin mo sila ng dalawang batang toro; ang isa'y ihahandog na kasama ng handog na pagkaing butil, at ang isa'y handog para sa kapatawaran ng kasalanan. 9 Dalhin mo ang mga Levita sa harap ng Toldang Tipanan at iharap mo sa sambayanang Israel. 10 Samantalang inihaharap mo sila kay Yahweh, ipapatong naman ng mga Israelita ang kanilang mga kamay sa ulo ng mga Levita. 11 Ang mga ito'y iaalay ni Aaron kay Yahweh bilang natatanging handog ng bayang Israel para maglingkod sa akin. 12 Pagkatapos, ipapatong ng mga Levita ang kanilang kamay sa ulo ng mga toro; ang isa'y handog para sa kapatawaran ng kasalanan at ang isa'y handog na susunugin upang sila'y matubos sa kanilang mga kasalanan.
13 “Ilaan mo ang mga Levita sa akin bilang natatanging handog, at ilagay mo sila sa ilalim ng pamamahala ni Aaron at ng mga anak niya. 14 Ganyan mo sila ibubukod mula sa sambayanang Israel at sila'y magiging akin. 15 Pagkatapos mo silang linisin ayon sa Kautusan at maialay kay Yahweh bilang natatanging handog, magsisimula na sila sa paglilingkod sa Toldang Tipanan. 16 Nakalaan sila sa akin bilang kapalit ng mga panganay na lalaki ng Israel. 17 Ang(B) mga panganay ng Israel ay itinalaga kong maging akin nang gabing lipulin ko ang mga panganay ng Egipto. Kaya, sila ay akin, maging tao man o hayop. 18 Pinili ko ang mga Levita bilang kapalit ng mga panganay ng Israel, 19 upang makatulong ni Aaron at ng mga anak nito sa paglilingkod sa Toldang Tipanan sa paghahandog para sa katubusan ng kasalanan ng Israel. Sa ganoong paraan ay mailalayo ang mga Israelita sa panganib na mamatay kapag sila'y lumapit sa santuwaryo.”
20 Ang mga Levita ay itinalaga nga ni Moises, ni Aaron at ng buong Israel, ayon sa utos ni Yahweh. 21 Nilinis ng mga Levita ang kanilang katawan gayundin ang kanilang kasuotan. Itinalaga nga sila ni Aaron, at ginanap ang paghahandog para sa kapatawaran ng kanilang kasalanan. 22 Isinagawang lahat ni Moises ang utos ni Yahweh sa kanya tungkol sa mga Levita. Pagkatapos, ginampanan na nila ang kanilang tungkulin sa loob ng Toldang Tipanan bilang katulong ni Aaron at ng mga anak nito.
Ang Itatagal ng Panunungkulan ng mga Levita
23 Sinabi ni Yahweh kay Moises, 24 “Ganito ang magiging tuntunin tungkol sa mga Levita: mula sa edad na dalawampu't lima, tutulong sila sa gawain sa loob ng Toldang Tipanan. 25 Pagdating nila ng limampung taon, pagpapahingahin na sila sa ganoong gawain. 26 Maaari pa rin silang tumulong sa kanilang mga kapwa Levita sa pagganap ng mga ito ng kanilang tungkulin sa loob ng Toldang Tipanan subalit hindi sila maaaring magsagawa ng paglilingkod.”

Arrangement of the Lamps(A)
8 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 2 “Speak to Aaron, and say to him, ‘When you (B)arrange the lamps, the seven (C)lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand.’ ” 3 And Aaron did so; he arranged the lamps to face toward the front of the lampstand, as the Lord commanded Moses. 4 (D)Now this workmanship of the lampstand was hammered gold; from its shaft to its flowers it was (E)hammered work. (F)According to the pattern which the Lord had shown Moses, so he made the lampstand.
Cleansing and Dedication of the Levites
5 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 6 “Take the Levites from among the children of Israel and cleanse them ceremonially. 7 Thus you shall do to them to cleanse them: Sprinkle (G)water of purification on them, and (H)let[a] them shave all their body, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean. 8 Then let them take a young bull with (I)its grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, and you shall take another young bull as a sin offering. 9 (J)And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of meeting, (K)and you shall gather together the whole congregation of the children of Israel. 10 So you shall bring the Levites before the Lord, and the children of Israel (L)shall lay their hands on the Levites; 11 and Aaron shall [b]offer the Levites before the Lord like a (M)wave offering from the children of Israel, that they may perform the work of the Lord. 12 (N)Then the Levites shall lay their hands on the heads of the young bulls, and you shall offer one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering to the Lord, to make atonement for the Levites.
13 “And you shall stand the Levites before Aaron and his sons, and then offer them like a wave offering to the Lord. 14 Thus you shall (O)separate the Levites from among the children of Israel, and the Levites shall be (P)Mine. 15 After that the Levites shall go in to service the tabernacle of meeting. So you shall cleanse them and (Q)offer them like a wave offering. 16 For they are (R)wholly given to Me from among the children of Israel; I have taken them for Myself (S)instead of all who open the womb, the firstborn of all the children of Israel. 17 (T)For all the firstborn among the children of Israel are Mine, both man and beast; on the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I [c]sanctified them to Myself. 18 I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn of the children of Israel. 19 And (U)I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the work for the children of Israel in the tabernacle of meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel, (V)that there be no plague among the children of Israel when the children of Israel come near the sanctuary.”
20 Thus Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel did to the Levites; according to all that the Lord commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the children of Israel did to them. 21 (W)And the Levites purified themselves and washed their clothes; then Aaron presented them like a wave offering before the Lord, and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them. 22 (X)After that the Levites went in to do their work in the tabernacle of meeting before Aaron and his sons; (Y)as the Lord commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.
23 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 24 “This is what pertains to the Levites: (Z)From twenty-five years old and above one may enter to perform service in the work of the tabernacle of meeting; 25 and at the age of fifty years they must cease performing this work, and shall work no more. 26 They may minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of meeting, (AA)to attend to needs, but they themselves shall do no work. Thus you shall do to the Levites regarding their duties.”
