⁴ The Egyptians were burying their firstborn sons, whom the Lord had ·killed [^Lstruck]; the Lord ·showed that the gods of Egypt were false [or even executed judgment against their gods; Ex. 12:12].

⁵ The ·Israelites [^Lsons/^Tchildren of Israel] left Rameses and camped at Succoth.

⁶ They left Succoth and camped at Etham, at the edge of the ·desert [wilderness; Ex. 13:20].
