2 Y he aquí, se produjo un gran terremoto, porque un ángel del Señor(A) descendiendo del cielo, y acercándose, removió la piedra(B) y se sentó sobre ella. 3 Su aspecto era como un relámpago, y su vestidura blanca como la nieve(C); 4 y de miedo a él los guardias temblaron y se quedaron como muertos. 5 Y hablando[a] el ángel, dijo a las mujeres: Vosotras, no temáis(D); porque yo sé que buscáis a Jesús, el que fue crucificado[b].

2 There was a violent earthquake,(A) for an angel(B) of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone(C) and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.(D) 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid,(E) for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.
