Diyos ang Siyang Huhusga

Isang Awit na katha ni Asaf upang awitin ng Punong Mang-aawit.

75 Salamat, O Diyos, maraming salamat,
    sa iyong pangalan kami'y tumatawag,
    upang gunitain sa lahat ng oras ang mga gawa mo na kahanga-hanga.

2 Wika ng Panginoon, “Sa takdang panahon,
    walang pagtatanging ako ay hahatol.
3 Itong mundong ito'y kahit na mayanig,
    maubos ang tao dito sa daigdig,
    ang saligan nito'y aking ititindig.” (Selah)[a]
4 “Sabi ko sa hambog sila ay mag-ingat, at ang masasama'y huwag magpasikat.
5     Ang pagmamalaki'y dapat na iwasan, kung magsasalita'y gawing malumanay.”

6 Hindi sa silangan, hindi sa kanluran,
    hindi rin sa timog o sa hilaga man magmumula, hatol na inaasahan.
7 Tanging Diyos lamang ang siyang hahatol,
    sa mapapahamak o sa magtatagumpay.
8 Si Yahweh na Diyos ay may kopang hawak,
    sariwa't matapang yaong lamang alak;
ipauubaya niyang ito'y tunggain
    ng taong masama, hanggang sa ubusin.

9 Subalit ako ay laging magagalak;
    ang Diyos ni Jacob, aking itataas.
10 Lakas ng masama'y papatiding lahat,
    sa mga matuwid nama'y itataas!

75 Kami ay nagpapasalamat sa iyo, Oh Dios: kami ay nagpapasalamat, sapagka't ang iyong pangalan ay malapit: isinasaysay ng mga tao ang iyong mga kagilagilalas na gawa.

2 Pagka aking nakamtan ang takdang kapanahunan, hahatol ako ng matuwid.

3 Ang lupa at lahat na tagarito ay natutunaw: aking itinayo ang mga haligi niyaon. (Selah)

4 Aking sinabi sa hambog, Huwag kang gumawang may kahambugan: at sa masama, Huwag kang magtaas ng sungay:

5 Huwag mong itaas ang iyong sungay ng mataas; huwag kang magsalitang may matigas na ulo.

6 Sapagka't hindi man mula sa silanganan, o mula man sa kalunuran, o mula man sa timugan, ang pagkataas.

7 Kundi ang Dios ay siyang hukom: kaniyang ibinababa ang isa, at itinataas ang isa.

8 Sapagka't sa kamay ng Panginoon ay may isang saro, at ang alak ay bumubula; puno ng pagkakahalohalo, at kaniyang inililiguwak din: tunay na ibubuhos ng lahat na masama sa lupa ang latak, at iinumin.

9 Nguni't aking ipahahayag magpakailan man, ako'y aawit ng mga kapurihan sa Dios ni Jacob.

10 Lahat ng mga sungay naman ng masama ay aking ihihiwalay; nguni't ang mga sungay ng matuwid ay matataas.

Psalm 75[a]

For the director of music. To the tune of “Do Not Destroy.” A psalm of Asaph. A song.

1 We praise you, God,
    we praise you, for your Name is near;(A)
    people tell of your wonderful deeds.(B)

2 You say, “I choose the appointed time;(C)
    it is I who judge with equity.(D)
3 When the earth and all its people quake,(E)
    it is I who hold its pillars(F) firm.[b]
4 To the arrogant(G) I say, ‘Boast no more,’(H)
    and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horns.[c](I)
5 Do not lift your horns against heaven;
    do not speak so defiantly.(J)’”

6 No one from the east or the west
    or from the desert can exalt themselves.
7 It is God who judges:(K)
    He brings one down, he exalts another.(L)
8 In the hand of the Lord is a cup
    full of foaming wine mixed(M) with spices;
he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth
    drink it down to its very dregs.(N)

9 As for me, I will declare(O) this forever;
    I will sing(P) praise to the God of Jacob,(Q)
10 who says, “I will cut off the horns of all the wicked,
    but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.”(R)

75 Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

2 When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

3 The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

4 I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

5 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

8 For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

9 But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
