Pambansang Awit ng Pagtatagumpay
Awit na katha ni David upang awitin ng Punong Mang-aawit.
68 Magbangon ka, O Diyos, kaaway ay pangalatin,
at ang mga namumuhi'y tumakas sa kanyang piling!
2 Kung paanong yaong usok tinatangay noong hangin, gayon sila itataboy, gayon sila papaalisin;
at kung paanong kandila sa apoy ay natutunaw,
sa harap ng Panginoon ang masama ay papanaw.
3 Ngunit lahat magagalak, matutuwa ang matuwid;
sa harapan nitong Diyos, galak nila'y di malirip.
4 Awitan natin ang Diyos, purihin ang kanyang ngalan,
maghanda ng isang landas upang kanyang maraanan;
ang pangalan niyang Yahweh, magalak na papurihan.
5 Ang Diyos na naroroon sa tahanan niyang templo,
tumitingin sa ulila't sanggalang ng mga balo.
6 May tahanan siyang laan sa sinumang nalulungkot,
ang bilanggo'y hinahango upang sila ay malugod;
samantalang ang tirahan ng suwail ay malungkot.
7 Diyos, nang ang iyong mga lingkod samahan sa paglalakbay,
sa pagbagtas sa malawak na lupaing mga ilang, (Selah)[a]
8 ang(A) lupa ay nayayanig, bumubuhos pati ulan; ganito ang nangyayari kapag ika'y dumaratal.
Maging ang bundok ng Sinai, nayanig din sa pagdating,
nang dumating na si Yahweh, itong Diyos ng Israel.
9 Dahil sa iyo, yaong ulang masagana ay pumatak,
lupain mong natuyo na'y nanariwa at umunlad.
10 At doon mo pinatira yaong iyong mga lingkod,
ang mahirap nilang buhay sa pagpapala'y pinuspos.
11 May utos na pinalabas na si Yahweh ang nagbigay,
ang nagdala ng balita ay babaing karamihan;
12 ang balitang sinasabi: “Nang dahil sa takot, mga hari't hukbo nila'y tumatakas sa labanan!”
Kaya ang mga babae na ang nagparte ng samsam.
13 Para silang kalapati, nararamtan noong pilak,
parang gintong kumikinang kapag gumalaw yaong pakpak;
(Bakit mayro'ng sa kulungan ng tupa napasadlak?)
14 Mga haring nagsitakas pagsapit ng Bundok Zalmon,
ang yelo ay pinapatak ni Yahweh sa dakong iyon.
15 O kay laki niyong bundok, yaong bundok nitong Bashan;
ito'y bundok na kay raming taluktok na tinataglay.
16 Sa taluktok mong mataas, bakit kinukutya wari
yaong bundok na maliit na ang Diyos ang pumili?
Doon siya mananahan upang doon mamalagi.
17 Ang kasama'y libu-libong matitibay na sasakyan,
galing Sinai, si Yahweh ay darating sa dakong banal.
18 At(B) sa dakong matataas doon siya nagpupunta,
umaahon siya roon, mga bihag ang kasama;
kaloob mang nagbubuhat sa tauhang nag-aalsa,
tinatanggap ng Panginoong Yahweh na doon na tumitira.
19 Purihin ang Panginoon, ang Diyos nating nagliligtas,
dinadala araw-araw, ang pasanin nating hawak. (Selah)[b]
20 Ang ating Diyos ay isang Diyos na ang gawa ay magligtas,
si Yahweh ang Panginoon, Panginoon nating lahat!
Sa bingit ng kamataya'y hinahango tayo agad.
21 Mga ulo ng kaaway ay babasagin ng Diyos,
kapag sila ay nagpilit sa kanilang gawang buktot.
22 Si Yahweh ang nagsalita: “Ibabalik ko sa iyo kaaway na nasa Bashan;
hahanguin ko nga sila sa gitna ng karagatan,
23 upang kayo'y magtampisaw sa dugo na bubuhos,
sa dugo nilang yaon, pati aso ay hihimod.”
24 Mamamasdan ng marami ang lakad mong matagumpay,
pagpasok ng Diyos kong hari, sa may dako niyang banal.
25 Sa unaha'y umaawit, tumutugtog sa hulihan,
sa gitna'y nagtatamburin ang babaing karamihan.
26 “Ang Diyos ay papurihan, kung magtipong sama-sama,
buong lahi ng Israel papurihan ninyo siya!”
27 Yaong lahi ni Benjamin, maliit ma'y nangunguna,
kasunod ay mga puno at pulutong nitong Juda;
mga puno ng Zebulun at Neftali'y kasunod na.
28 Sana'y iyong ipadama ang taglay mong kalakasan,
ang lakas na ginamit mo noong kami'y isanggalang.
29 Magmula sa Jerusalem, sa iyong tahanang templo,
na pati ang mga hari doo'y naghahandog sa iyo,
30 pagwikaan mo ang hayop, ang mailap na Egipto;
sabihan ang mga bansang parang torong may bisiro;
hanggang sila ay sumuko, maghandog ng pilak sa iyo.
Ang lahat ng maibigin sa digmaa'y ikalat mo!
31 Mula roon sa Egipto, mga sugo ay darating,
ang Etiopia'y[c] daup-palad na sa Diyos dadalangin.
32 Umawit sa Panginoon ang lahat ng kaharian,
awitin ang pagpupuri't si Yahweh ay papurihan! (Selah)[d]
33 Purihin ang naglalakbay sa matandang kalangitan;
mula roo'y maririnig ang malakas niyang sigaw!
34 Ipahayag ng balana, taglay niyang kalakasan,
siya'y hari ng Israel, maghahari siyang tunay;
'yang taglay niyang lakas ay buhat sa kalangitan.
35 Kahanga-hanga ang Diyos sa santuwaryo niyang banal,
siya ang Diyos ng Israel na sa tana'y nagbibigay
ng kapangyariha't lakas na kanilang kailangan.
Ang Diyos ay papurihan!

68 ¡Levántese Dios, y sean esparcidos sus enemigos!
¡Huyan de su presencia quienes lo aborrecen!
2 Dios los despejará como si despejara el humo;
¡como si derritiera cera delante del fuego!
Así perecen los impíos delante de Dios.
3 Pero los justos se alegrarán delante de Dios;
¡llenos de gozo, saltarán de alegría!
4 ¡Cantemos salmos a Dios! ¡Cantemos salmos a su nombre!
¡Exaltemos al que cabalga sobre los cielos!
Su nombre es el Señor. ¡Alegrémonos en su presencia!
5 Dios, en su santo templo,
es padre de los huérfanos y defensor de las viudas.
6 Dios les da un hogar a los desamparados,
y rescata a los cautivos y les da prosperidad,
pero a los rebeldes los hace habitar en el desierto.
7 Dios nuestro, cuando saliste al frente de tu pueblo,
cuando anduviste por el desierto,
8 la tierra tembló.
Al verte, Dios de Israel, los cielos derramaron su lluvia;
ante tu presencia,(A) el monte Sinaí se estremeció.
9 Tú, Dios nuestro, derramaste abundante lluvia,
y a tu exhausta tierra infundiste vida.
10 En ella, oh Dios, habitan los que son tuyos;
tú, por tu bondad, das al pobre lo que necesita.
11 El Señor emitió su palabra,
y muchas mensajeras dieron la noticia:
12 «¡Están huyendo los reyes y sus ejércitos!»
En su casa, las mujeres se repartían los despojos:
13 «Aunque ustedes se quedaron en los apriscos,
también recibirán alas de paloma cubiertas de plata,
con sus plumas recubiertas de oro fino.»
14 Cuando el Omnipotente esparció allí a los reyes,
en el monte Salmón parecía estar nevando.
15 El monte de Basán es un monte muy alto;
el monte de Basán es un monte majestuoso.
16 Ustedes, altos montes, ¿por qué miran con desdén
al monte en donde Dios decidió residir?
¡El Señor habitará allí para siempre!
17 Entre miríadas de poderosos carros de guerra,
tú, Señor, marchas del Sinaí a tu santuario.
18 Asciendes a lo alto, llevando contigo a los cautivos
y el tributo que recibiste de gente rebelde,(B)
y entre ellos, Señor y Dios, pondrás tu habitación.
19 Bendito sea el Señor, el Dios de nuestra salvación,
que todos los días nos colma de beneficios.
20 El Señor nuestro Dios es un Dios que salva;
el Señor tiene poder para librarnos de la muerte.
21 Dios herirá la cabeza de sus enemigos,
la melena de los que andan en sus pecados.
22 El Señor ha dicho: «Yo te haré volver de Basán.
Te haré volver de las profundidades del mar.
23 ¡Tus pies y la lengua de tus perros
se teñirán con la sangre de tus enemigos!»
24 En el santuario, oh Dios, pueden verse tus procesiones;
¡tus marchas triunfales, mi Dios y Rey!
25 Los cantores abren la marcha, los músicos la cierran,
y en medio las doncellas avanzan con panderos.
26 Ustedes, descendientes de Israel,
¡bendigan a nuestro Señor y Dios en las congregaciones!
27 Allí va el joven Benjamín, al frente de ellos,
acompañado por los príncipes de Judá,
los príncipes de Zabulón y los príncipes de Neftalí.
28 Dios nuestro, ¡manifiesta tu poder!
¡Confirma, oh Dios, lo que has hecho por nosotros!
29 Por causa de tu templo en Jerusalén
los reyes te pagan tributo.
30 ¡Reprime a la bestia de los juncos,
a ese ejército de toros y becerros!
¡Somételos! ¡Que te entreguen sus piezas de plata!
¡Dispersa a los pueblos que se complacen en la guerra!
31 ¡Que vengan a ti los príncipes de Egipto!
¡Que se apresure Etiopía a tender a ti sus manos!
32 Reinos de la tierra, ¡canten salmos a Dios!
¡Canten salmos al Señor!
33 ¡Al que cabalga sobre los altos y eternos cielos!
¡Al que hace oír su poderosa voz!
34 ¡Reconozcan el poder a Dios!
Sobre Israel puede verse su magnificencia;
¡en los cielos se manifiesta su poder!
35 En su santuario, Dios es imponente;
¡el Dios de Israel da fuerza y vigor a su pueblo!

Psalm 68[a]
For the director of music. Of David. A psalm. A song.
1 May God arise,(A) may his enemies be scattered;(B)
may his foes flee(C) before him.
2 May you blow them away like smoke—(D)
as wax melts(E) before the fire,
may the wicked perish(F) before God.
3 But may the righteous be glad
and rejoice(G) before God;
may they be happy and joyful.
4 Sing to God, sing in praise of his name,(H)
extol him who rides on the clouds[b](I);
rejoice before him—his name is the Lord.(J)
5 A father to the fatherless,(K) a defender of widows,(L)
is God in his holy dwelling.(M)
6 God sets the lonely(N) in families,[c](O)
he leads out the prisoners(P) with singing;
but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.(Q)
7 When you, God, went out(R) before your people,
when you marched through the wilderness,[d](S)
8 the earth shook,(T) the heavens poured down rain,(U)
before God, the One of Sinai,(V)
before God, the God of Israel.(W)
9 You gave abundant showers,(X) O God;
you refreshed your weary inheritance.
10 Your people settled in it,
and from your bounty,(Y) God, you provided(Z) for the poor.
11 The Lord announces the word,
and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng:(AA)
12 “Kings and armies flee(AB) in haste;
the women at home divide the plunder.(AC)
13 Even while you sleep among the sheep pens,[e](AD)
the wings of my dove are sheathed with silver,
its feathers with shining gold.”
14 When the Almighty[f] scattered(AE) the kings in the land,
it was like snow fallen on Mount Zalmon.(AF)
15 Mount Bashan,(AG) majestic mountain,(AH)
Mount Bashan, rugged mountain,
16 why gaze in envy, you rugged mountain,
at the mountain where God chooses(AI) to reign,
where the Lord himself will dwell forever?(AJ)
17 The chariots(AK) of God are tens of thousands
and thousands of thousands;(AL)
the Lord has come from Sinai into his sanctuary.[g]
18 When you ascended(AM) on high,(AN)
you took many captives;(AO)
you received gifts from people,(AP)
even from[h] the rebellious(AQ)—
that you,[i] Lord God, might dwell there.
19 Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior,(AR)
who daily bears our burdens.(AS)
20 Our God is a God who saves;(AT)
from the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death.(AU)
21 Surely God will crush the heads(AV) of his enemies,
the hairy crowns of those who go on in their sins.
22 The Lord says, “I will bring them from Bashan;
I will bring them from the depths of the sea,(AW)
23 that your feet may wade in the blood of your foes,(AX)
while the tongues of your dogs(AY) have their share.”
24 Your procession, God, has come into view,
the procession of my God and King into the sanctuary.(AZ)
25 In front are the singers,(BA) after them the musicians;(BB)
with them are the young women playing the timbrels.(BC)
26 Praise God in the great congregation;(BD)
praise the Lord in the assembly of Israel.(BE)
27 There is the little tribe(BF) of Benjamin,(BG) leading them,
there the great throng of Judah’s princes,
and there the princes of Zebulun and of Naphtali.(BH)
28 Summon your power,(BI) God[j];
show us your strength,(BJ) our God, as you have done(BK) before.
29 Because of your temple at Jerusalem
kings will bring you gifts.(BL)
30 Rebuke the beast(BM) among the reeds,(BN)
the herd of bulls(BO) among the calves of the nations.
Humbled, may the beast bring bars of silver.
Scatter the nations(BP) who delight in war.(BQ)
31 Envoys will come from Egypt;(BR)
Cush[k](BS) will submit herself to God.
32 Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth,(BT)
sing praise(BU) to the Lord,
33 to him who rides(BV) across the highest heavens, the ancient heavens,
who thunders(BW) with mighty voice.(BX)
34 Proclaim the power(BY) of God,
whose majesty(BZ) is over Israel,
whose power is in the heavens.
35 You, God, are awesome(CA) in your sanctuary;(CB)
the God of Israel gives power and strength(CC) to his people.(CD)
