Panalangin para Tulungan ng Dios

60 O Dios, itinakwil nʼyo kami at pinabayaang malupig.
    Nagalit kayo sa amin ngunit ngayon, manumbalik sana ang inyong kabutihan.
²Niyanig nʼyo ang kalupaan at pinagbitak-bitak,
    ngunit nakikiusap ako na ayusin nʼyo po dahil babagsak na ito.
³Kami na mga mamamayan nʼyo ay labis-labis nʼyong pinahirapan.
    Para nʼyo kaming nilasing sa alak, sumusuray-suray.
⁴Ngunit, para sa aming mga may takot sa inyo, nagtaas kayo ng bandila bilang palatandaan
    ng aming pagtitipon sa oras ng labanan.
⁵Iligtas nʼyo kami sa pamamagitan ng inyong kapangyarihan.
    Pakinggan nʼyo kami,
    upang kaming mga iniibig nʼyo ay maligtas.
⁶O Dios, sinabi nʼyo roon sa inyong templo,
    “Magtatagumpay ako! Hahatiin ko ang Shekem at ang kapatagan ng Sucot
    para ipamigay sa aking mga mamamayan.
⁷Sa akin ang Gilead at Manase,
    ang Efraim ay gagawin kong tanggulan^[a]
    at ang Juda ang aking tagapamahala.^[b]
⁸Ang Moab ang aking utusan^[c] at ang Edom ay sa akin din.^[d]
    Sisigaw ako ng tagumpay laban sa mga Filisteo.”
⁹Sinong magdadala sa akin sa Edom
    at sa bayan nito na napapalibutan ng pader?
¹⁰Sino na ang makakatulong, O Dios, ngayong itinakwil nʼyo na kami?
    Ni hindi na nga kayo sumasama sa aming mga kawal.
¹¹Tulungan nʼyo kami laban sa aming mga kaaway,
    dahil ang tulong ng tao ay walang kabuluhan.
¹²Sa tulong nʼyo, O Dios,
    kami ay magtatagumpay
    dahil tatalunin nʼyo ang aming mga kaaway.

For the Music Director. A Miktam of David to teach. To the melody of “Lily of the Testimony,” when he struggled with Aram Naharaim and with Aram Zobah and when Joab returned from striking down twelve thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt.

¹O God, You have rejected us, You have scattered us;
    You have been displeased; take us back.
²You have made the earth tremble; You have split it open;
    heal its breaches, for it shook.
³You have shown Your people hard times;
    You have made us drink wine, causing us to stagger.
⁴You have given a banner to those who fear You,
    that they may flee to it from the bow.^[a] Selah

⁵That Your beloved ones may be delivered,
    save with Your right hand and answer us.
⁶God has spoken in His holiness:
    “I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem,
    and measure out the Valley of Sukkoth.
⁷Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine;
    Ephraim also is My helmet;
    Judah is My scepter;
⁸Moab is My wash basin;
    over Edom I will cast My shoe;
    shout the alarm, O Philistia, because of Me.”

⁹Who will bring me into the fortified city?
    Who will lead me into Edom?
¹⁰You, O God, have You not cast us off?
    And You, O God, did not go out with our armies.
¹¹Give us help from trouble,
    for the help of man is worthless.
¹²Through God we will do valiantly,
    for He will tread down our enemies.

¹You have rejected us,^(C) God, and burst upon us;
    you have been angry^(D)—now restore us!^(E)
²You have shaken the land^(F) and torn it open;
    mend its fractures,^(G) for it is quaking.
³You have shown your people desperate times;^(H)
    you have given us wine that makes us stagger.^(I)
⁴But for those who fear you, you have raised a banner^(J)
    to be unfurled against the bow.^[e]

⁵Save us and help us with your right hand,^(K)
    that those you love^(L) may be delivered.
⁶God has spoken from his sanctuary:
    “In triumph I will parcel out Shechem^(M)
    and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.^(N)
⁷Gilead^(O) is mine, and Manasseh is mine;
    Ephraim^(P) is my helmet,
    Judah^(Q) is my scepter.^(R)
⁸Moab is my washbasin,
    on Edom I toss my sandal;
    over Philistia I shout in triumph.^(S)”

⁹Who will bring me to the fortified city?
    Who will lead me to Edom?
¹⁰Is it not you, God, you who have now rejected us
    and no longer go out with our armies?^(T)
¹¹Give us aid against the enemy,
    for human help is worthless.^(U)
¹²With God we will gain the victory,
    and he will trample down our enemies.^(V)
