Panalangin Upang Tulungan ng Diyos

Katha ni David upang awitin ng Punong Mang-aawit; sa saliw ng plauta.

5 Pakinggan mo, Yahweh, ang aking pagdaing,
    ang aking panaghoy, sana'y bigyang pansin.
2 Aking Diyos at hari, karaingan ko'y pakinggan,
    sapagkat sa iyo lang ako nananawagan.
3 Sa kinaumagahan, O Yahweh, tinig ko'y iyong dinggin,
    at sa pagsikat ng araw, tugon mo'y hihintayin.

4 Ikaw ay Diyos na di nalulugod sa kasamaan,
    mga maling gawain, di mo pinapayagan.
5 Ang mga palalo'y di makakatagal sa iyong harapan,
    mga gumagawa ng kasamaa'y iyong kinasusuklaman.
6 Pinupuksa mo, Yahweh, ang mga sinungaling,
    galit ka sa mamamatay-tao, at mga mapanlamang.

7 Ngunit dahil sa iyong dakilang pagmamahal,
    makakapasok ako sa iyong tahanan;
ika'y sambahin ko sa Templo mong banal,
    luluhod ako tanda ng aking paggalang.
8 Patnubayan mo ako, Yahweh, sa iyong katuwiran,
    dahil napakarami ng sa aki'y humahadlang,
    landas mong matuwid sa aki'y ipaalam, upang ito'y aking laging masundan.

9 Ang(A) mga sinasabi ng mga kaaway ko'y kasinungalingan;
    saloobin nila'y pawang kabulukan;
parang bukás na libingan ang kanilang lalamunan,
    pananalita nila'y pawang panlilinlang.
10 O Diyos, sila sana'y iyong panagutin,
    sa sariling pakana, sila'y iyong pabagsakin;
sa dami ng pagkakasala nila, sila'y iyong itakwil,
    sapagkat mapaghimagsik sila at mga suwail.

11 Ngunit ang humihingi ng tulong sa iyo ay masisiyahan,
    at lagi silang aawit nang may kagalakan.
Ingatan mo ang mga sa iyo'y nagmamahal,
    upang magpatuloy silang ika'y papurihan.
12 Pinagpapala mo, O Yahweh, ang mga taong matuwid,
    at gaya ng kalasag, protektado sila ng iyong pag-ibig.

1599 Geneva Bible

5 David oppressed with the cruelty of his enemies, and fearing greater dangers, calleth to God for succor, showing how requisite it is that God should punish the malice of his adversaries. 7 After, being assured of prosperous success, he conceiveth comfort, 12 concluding, that when God shall deliver him, others also shall be partakers of the same mercies.

To him that excelleth upon [a]Nehiloth. A Psalm of David.

1 Hear my words, O Lord: understand my [b]meditation.

2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my king and my God: for unto thee do I pray.

3 Hear my voice in the morning, O Lord: for in the morning will I direct me unto thee, and I will [c]wait.

4 For thou art not a God that loveth [d]wickedness, neither shall evil dwell with thee.

5 [e]The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: for thou hatest all them that work iniquity.

6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak lies: the Lord will abhor the bloody man and deceitful.

7 But I [f]will come into thine house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thine holy Temple.

8 Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness, [g]because of mine enemies: make thy way plain before my face.

9 For no constancy is in their mouth: within they are very corruption: their (A)throat is an open sepulcher, and they flatter with their tongue.

10 Destroy them, O God, [h]let them [i]fall from their counsels: cast them out for the multitude of their iniquities, because they have rebelled against thee.

11 And [j]let all them that trust in thee, rejoice and triumph forever, and cover thou them: and let them that love thy name, rejoice in thee.

12 For thou Lord, wilt [k]bless the righteous, and with favor [l]wilt compass him, as with a shield.

5 耶和華啊，求你聽我的禱告，
顧念我的哀歎。
2 我的王，我的上帝啊！
求你垂聽我的呼求，
因為我只向你祈禱。
3 耶和華啊！早晨你聽我的禱告。
早晨我到你面前祈求，
切切等候。
4 你是厭惡邪惡的上帝，
惡人在你面前無立足之地。
5 狂妄之人不能站在你面前，
你憎惡一切作惡之人。
6 說謊的，你毀滅；
兇殘詭詐的，你痛恨。
7 因為你有無限的慈愛，
我要進入你的居所，
我要滿懷敬畏地向你的聖殿下拜。
8 耶和華啊，我的仇敵眾多，
求你以公義引領我，
使我走你安排的正路。
9 他們口中毫無實話，
心裡充滿惡毒，
喉嚨是敞開的墳墓，
舌頭上盡是詭詐。
10 上帝啊，
求你定他們的罪，
讓他們作繭自縛。
他們背叛你，罪惡深重，
求你把他們趕走。
11 願投靠你的人歡歌不斷。
求你庇護他們，
讓愛你的人因你而喜樂。

Psalm 5[a]

For the director of music. For pipes. A psalm of David.

1 Listen(A) to my words, Lord,
    consider my lament.(B)
2 Hear my cry for help,(C)
    my King and my God,(D)
    for to you I pray.

3 In the morning,(E) Lord, you hear my voice;
    in the morning I lay my requests before you
    and wait expectantly.(F)
4 For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness;
    with you, evil people(G) are not welcome.
5 The arrogant(H) cannot stand(I)
    in your presence.
You hate(J) all who do wrong;
6     you destroy those who tell lies.(K)
The bloodthirsty and deceitful
    you, Lord, detest.
7 But I, by your great love,
    can come into your house;
in reverence(L) I bow down(M)
    toward your holy temple.(N)

8 Lead me, Lord, in your righteousness(O)
    because of my enemies—
    make your way straight(P) before me.
9 Not a word from their mouth can be trusted;
    their heart is filled with malice.
Their throat is an open grave;(Q)
    with their tongues they tell lies.(R)
10 Declare them guilty, O God!
    Let their intrigues be their downfall.
Banish them for their many sins,(S)
    for they have rebelled(T) against you.
11 But let all who take refuge in you be glad;
    let them ever sing for joy.(U)
Spread your protection over them,
    that those who love your name(V) may rejoice in you.(W)

12 Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;(X)
