^25 (A)Knowing their thoughts, ^(B)he said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand. ²⁶ And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? ²⁷ And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, ^(C)by whom do ^(D)your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges. ²⁸ But if it is ^(E)by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then ^(F)the kingdom of God has come upon you.

^20 (A)The God of peace ^(B)will soon crush Satan under your feet. ^(C)The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

^8 (A)Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was ^(B)to destroy the works of the devil.
