24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother and then come and present your gift. 25 Reach agreement[a] quickly with your accuser while on the way to court,[b] or he[c] may hand you over to the judge, and the judge hand you over to the warden, and you will be thrown into prison. 26 I tell you the truth,[d] you will never get out of there until you have paid the last penny![e]

24 就要把祭物留在祭壇前，先去與弟兄和好，然後再回來獻上你的祭物。 25 你要趁著與你的對頭還在路上的時候，趕快與他和解，免得他把你交給審判官，審判官把你交給差役，你就會被投進監獄了。 26 我確實地告訴你：除非你還清了最後的一個銅幣[a]，否則你絕不能從那裡出來。
